  1. The benefit begins at Elite and is for unlimited drinks from the menu posted above.
  2. It's unlimited drinks for Elite and above, from a menu and not on embarkation night.
  3. I did a roundtrip in December, Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale, and it was great. DH and I will use it to catch a cruise in Ft. Lauderdale again in March, and I'll use for my TA in May (saves renting a car in that case). Trains were on time, comfortable, and clean. Only issue is other passengers who aren't civilized enough to use ear buds, but that happens on airplanes, too.
  4. Yes, same issue on Apex. We asked to be moved and were fortunately given an SV two decks up. The noise was from a late-night DJ; the hours in the program were "--until." That meant until after midnight.
  5. Doesn't look like the Zoo has luggage storage, but you could call and ask. You don't have enough time to do a lot (e.g., St. Augustine, Amelia Island, etc.), but you could get a shuttle to the airport, rent a car, and explore, including the Zoo, with your luggage in the trunk,
  6. Because those ships have four differently themed dining rooms, presumably so people can move among them during the cruise. The other classes have two DRs with similar decor, etc., so one can be designated as fixed and the other as anytime.
  7. I won't convince you. Cancel and book NCL if that's your thing.
  8. You can't book in advance. Show up and park. 😊 https://www.porteverglades.net/cruise/parking/
  9. No, I don't see the 12/10 cruise, either. Don't let Poohby Joe too close to the champagne tonight.
  10. Yes, the taxi lines are usually separated into sedan and van/SUV.
  11. I'll bring a red Sharpie to correct the apostrophe errors. 😃
  12. It is enough time. The cruise lines usually recommend after 11:30 a.m. or so. No need to rush off, either.
  13. I have read that it's better to have the person be a no-show than to cancel, but maybe that was for another line. Perhaps someone else will pipe in.
  14. If you have fixed dining, you'll have the same servers. (Or am I missing something?)
  15. Brightline's station in Orlando connects to the new airport Terminal C, but it has a separate entrance/pickup area if you simply want the train access. The entrance is across from the South Remote lot, where the gas station is.
  16. I took Brightline from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale on 12/10 and returned on 12/17 (both Sundays). I was impressed and will take it again next May one-way to catch a TA. Trains were on time, clean, and comfortable. Well, except for the inconsiderate passengers not using earbuds, but that happens on planes, too. My cab from Pt. Everglades to the station was only $16. I just gave the guy a $20 bill. Uber was running over $35 at the time.
  17. I was on the Nieuw Statendam a week ago, returning to HAL after 10 years, and found the food much better than on Celebrity last year. The ship was clean with lots of interesting spaces, my cabin was fine (Family Oceanview on Deck 1), and overall I had a great time. I'd book HAL again if the price/itinerary were right.
  18. This article makes clear that the man who died yesterday ignored the warning lights and barriers. Hardly Brightline's fault. https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/news/local/westpb/2023/12/20/gary-millar-killed-by-brightline-train-after-trying-to-cross-tracks-west-palm-police-say/71984770007/
  19. Yes, use one of the shuttles. Cheaper than a taxi.
  20. Any of the hotels at the Pooler exit (near the Savannah airport) are fine for a one-night stay. Plenty of restaurants and shopping, too.
  21. Thanks for the pictures! I went by two or three times, and it was locked up tight. BTW, now you have to read It Starts with Us, which continues that story.
  22. Glad you got home safely. For comparison, my fare to the Brightline station was $15.75; I gave the guy $20. Uber estimates were running $35. 😲
