Flying out of BNA, got tickets in September.

My wife and I booked a Deluxe oceanview for 3.29.20, but we were able to change to a Guaranteed Aqua Class for less $600 less.

They do not rotate seating groups. You would go to the same dining room and table every meal. The exclusives are not offered in other dining rooms. If you get select, you may select any restaurant. If you do not get select, you may talk with the maitre d of your restaurants to see if there is availability to try the other restaurants.

Toronto-We initially had a set dinning time, but we were able to switch to anytime. I would call in periodically and see if you can switch.

My wife (30) and I (34) went on the Edge in March 2019 and had a IV. We really enjoyed it. The other passengers did seem to skew older, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our time. We ate at 3 specialty dining and all of the MDRs. However, I am pretty easy to please. I usually bring 5-6 books, and just read on the top deck. Our friends did alot more of the activities on board, and thought they were fun.

Eden was a nice experience, but I actually liked Fine Cuts better. We did Sushi on Five for lunch and it was good as well. Our favorite MDR was Normandie. Hope you have a nice trip.

The 6:30 and 8:30 times only go to one restaurant on the edge. You would go to the same venue for every meal. If you are wanting to try all 4 of the different MDR restaurants, you would need to have select.

We went on the Edge back in March. We were select dining and our friends were given a set time. We went to Cyprus when we got on board, and they were able to add them to our reservations. I would assume you would be able to go to Cyprus, and change where you are eating.

I don't know about connecting your TV. I will say I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of Free On Demand Movies available on the Edge.

I enjoyed the infinite veranda. I enjoyed the black out shade on the window itself. I will say I wish there was some sort of black out feature on the french doors. I woke up early and wanted to enjoy the veranda and sunrise but wanted to let my wife sleep. Small little gripe. I would book the infinite veranda again in a heartbeat. I loved the Edge.

In 2016, we did not take this exact excursion, but we did the Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Sistine chapel one through celebrity, and I will say I was thoroughly disappointed in the "Vatican Museum" portion. Basically, we just walked through the Museum to the Sistine chapel. I wanted to explore the museum, but we were unable to do that. The excursion was scheduled to be 8 hours, but was only 5. This was a post cruise excursion, so that may have the issue. The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica were worth the price of the excursion though. If you have the ability to find a local guide for a personal tour, i would recommend that over the tour I did with celebrity.

When I was on the Edge, the messages would show as an alert sometimes if you had notifications selected. Other times it wouldn't work like that, but we were able to leave messages telling our friends where we were. It worked out, and was nice instead of trying to locate them all over the ship.

Yes I understand there are numerous variables, really trying to get information regarding what the first disembarkation times for the Edge in FLL have been and suggestions how to get of the ship in the first wave.
Thanks all ...
We lined up on the edge at 6:00 AM and we were off the boat and through customs by 6:50.

We had a 9:55 AM flight out of FLL when we got off the Edge. It was stressful getting to the airport, but we made the flight. I think you should be fine for your noon flight.

First night was similar to the rest. We did eat around 7:00 each night. Just as long as you book your reservations before the trip then you should be ok. We did take some time add our friends to each reservation once we got on board. We had to wait around 30 minutes to do that, but we knew that we would have to do that once onboard. Our friends had a set dining time, and could not be switched to Flex. Once we got on board, we were able to switch them to our reservations no problem. If you don't have your reservations set, I would go to cyprus first thing to book them for the entire trip.
-
We booked all of our reservations before the trip. There was never an issue with waiting. We may have waited 3 minutes each dinner just because the person escorting us to our table had just left to escort someone else to the table.

Creme Brulee was not on available every night on the edge last week as a classic desert. However, you could request it be specially made(24-hour notice), and the kitchen would make it for the person who requested the Creme Brulee.

I think it maybe due the fact plastic water bottles can be recycled while plastic straws cannot be recycled.

My wife and I are in our early 30s. We really enjoy Celebrity. We have done an Alaskan cruise and a Italian and Greek cruise with them Here is an example of what I usually wear to the Main Dining Room. Except for the Evening Chic nights (I wore a sports coat and slacks), I wore jeans and just a nice t-shirt every night to the Main Dining Room. We are booked on the Edge for a 3/24/19 sailing.

We did the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum excursion through celebrity, and it was fantastic. Our guide was amazing.

I would check airbnb. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment 10 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain for 314.
-
We booked a trip with romecabs.com from FCO to the cruise terminal. It was 150 euros for 4 people. I would recommend them.

When we went to Messina, we walked to the train station. Took the train to Taormina-Giardini Naxos stop. You then buy a bus ticket at the train station to go up to Taormina.
