Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks CCFC. I tried looking at the holiday inn earlier this year when we booked for October this year, but found the website quite tricky to use, so we ended up at the Premier Inn Airport. We then just drove to the car park. It was quite straightforward.
  2. Thanks for the information. I use a powerchair and my wife usually needs help from the terminal onto the ship.
  3. Thanks everyone for your advice. Can I just ask how it works with the parking? when I drop the car at the car park, do they take our luggage to the ship the same as AB parking does? Also is it far from the car park to the cruise terminal? Thanks.
  4. Thanks everyone for your help. I think it will be CPS. They seem to be the best, even though they are quite a lot more expensive than AB.
  5. Thanks David. CPS was recommended to me, but I'm unsure because I have a motabilty car, and it is only insured for me to drive. I'm not sure whether I would have to pay for repairs if it was damaged while someone else was driving it.
  6. Thanks for the help. I've just checked the link and you're right, it only shows up to March. Its really the parking I'm concerned about because I usually like to book it early. AB Parking was great because I could book it as soon as I'd booked our cruise.
  7. Hi. I hope someone can give me some advice. I have booked Sky Princess next October from Southampton. I want to book disabled parking near to the ship, but can't find out which berth the Sky Princess sails from. We have never been on Princess cruises before, we always go with Royal Caribbean. It was very easy because we booked with |ABParking, and the car park was right next to the ship. I would appreciate any help with the berth nimber and the nearest car park please? Thanks James
  8. Hi all. I hop someone can give me some advice. My wife and I are looking at a 14 night cruise to the Mediterranean next July on the Anthem of the Seas. I can walk short distances, but normally use a Powerchair. Can anyone tell me if the Train from Civitavecchia can take a folding powerchair, and also, what is it like getting around Rome. Any help and suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks James
  9. Yes, we remember the We Will Rock You show. It was amazing. I actually spoke to one of the musician on the show to ask if the music was recorded. He told me the whole show is live, there was no pre-recorded music at all. We are lokking forward to seeing it again.
  10. Thanks for your help. I'm sure we will have a great time. Just another question? We were on the Anthem last year and there was a Beatles tribute band performing. Would you know if they are still playing on the ship? We would love to see them again.
  11. Thanks for the information. Thats great to hear. I can stop worrying about that now. (and start worrying about something else.
  12. Thanks kaisatsu, thats a great help. I did read somewhere that Royal Caribbean supplies a shuttle, but I've searched and can't find where it goes to. James
  13. Hi. I'm Hoping someone can help. My wife and I are on the Anthem of the Seas to the Fjords on 7th July. We want to go to Magic Ice, but I have to use a powerchair, and we are not sure how to get from the ship to Magic Ice. Is it far to walk? Is there a shuttle from the ship? I know there is a "Little Red Ferry" that goes from one side of the harbour to the other, but looking at photos of it I don't think it will take wheelchairs. My powerchair is foldable, and I can walk short distances. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks James
  14. Thanks for the information. I will try and contact them direct. Thanks for the link.
  15. Thanks for the help. I had a feeling I had posted in the wrong place.
