Hello Lazydayz! We are doing this cruise next month and was wondering what night is considered formal night? We too wanted to book the steakhouse at least 1 night but didn't want to clash with the MDR formal night and is it true that there is no lobster in the MDR on this 4 day cruise? Thanks
Formal night is night #2. No lobster on the 3 or 4 da formal night.

All we were offered on the Liberty was the fanny pack. We were not given a choice of the Tote Bag or the Toiletry Bag.

It is the fanny pack. Got ours on the Liberty.

Are you still able to get your $2000 casino money and your stockholders OBC. We have tried at least 10 or more times and they said NO to the stockholders with a casino rate.

I will have my 50th cruise coming up later this year. Does Carnival give you a free dinner in the steak house/Rudi's for the 50th? 75?
-
Carnival. Free balcony or suite, $1000 casino money, drinks throughout the ship for you and a companion.

Is the casino drinks on us everywhere the same as Cheers? Is coffee included? My last cruise I had it but only order beer.
Yes it is. Coffee included.

The three of us enjoyed the Italian rest. on the Magic a couple of weeks ago. It was $18 each and well worth it.

I was just there a couple of weeks ago. There are plenty of penny slots. Some are in the smoking section and others in non-smoking. That is all I play is the penny slots and have been on the Liberty five times this year with casino offers each and every time.

We had the same problem on the Liberty a couple of weeks ago. There was a woman in the area between the elevators and the closed hallway doors who said we could not go to our room to drop of a bag. We are Diamond. This was on deck 9.

When you sit down, you cannot see out. The balcony is huge. I would never book one of these again.

You cannot beat a Carnival offer for a free aft balcony, $1000 in free play, and drinks throughout the ship for fees/port tax and then get $200 obc back from the fees/port tax. And this is for 3 to 8 night cruises.

Carnival is way better than NCL with their offers. We used to cruise a lot with NCL. Now with the offers, it is Carnival for sure. Balcony, free play in casino, free drinks. And you may get some OBC back from the fees/port tax you pay.

You get priority debarkation at port's of call. You either didn't go off the ship or you missed out.
It went to Nassau only. Did not get off the ship. No notice in cabin of getting priority debarkation. I even had to ask the cabin steward about the two bottles of water. He said to just use the two bottles that were there on the table marked for sale.

Just off the Captain's suite on the Liberty. There was a separate waiting area for suites at PC. Then we were escorted as a group to board the ship. Only other perk was two bottles of water in the suite.

Can you still test the day before at your neighborhood CVS for free or do they only accept testing at the pier for a fee?

Pearl is $100
Sapphire is $200
Ruby is $400
OBC does not increase for a sailing of 15 days or longer.

Effective with cruises departing on Saturday, August 14, 2021, we will require ALL fully vaccinated guests to produce a negative viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) taken within 3 days of their embarkation on all Carnival Cruise Line sailings.

I have received the stockholder credit on a Carnival casino cruise where I got free balcony, free drinks and $1000 casino cash. Apply for it. You have nothing to lose.

So which 3 ships is Carnival testing simplified menu in steak house?

We were on the Glory last weekend. On Friday night we went to the steakhouse. We were told that this was the first day for the new menu. No sides are now listed on the menu. I ordered the roasted chicken and it came with a dollop of mashed potatoes and one single carrot. Both our waiter and the chef we spoke to told us that this was to curb waste. Some people would order all the sides and just take one bite of each. This was a common occurence according to them both.
