  1. 8-10, the locale varies so look at the invitation you will get listing all the Captain’s Club events. The choice of buffet vs. menu depends on how many Elite and Elite Plus passengers on the cruise.
  2. Even so that might be one day in a cruise, but not open on a daily basis
  3. They would need to make that a round trip because a one-way would not be allowed since Cabo is not a Distant Foreign Port as required by US law
  4. These are not new. the old free classes were demonstration only, these classes are hands on, and they have been doing them for quite a while
  5. 10 am? You are likely to hear your names being paged by then and you’ll be leaving in the “walk of shame” parade😀
  6. On Celebrity, children can stay in an adjoining room, or across the hall by themselves, without needing to have an adult registered in that room with them. I think the larger issue, however, is finding a 2 to 3 week cruise. I’m sure that would entail at least a back to back scenario, with two or more cruises consecutively.
  7. I sign up on every cruise and have never received any sort of written confirmation. I’m board day, you can go to guest services and sign up there and there is no email or paperwork involved. Whoever was asking you for a written confirmation does not understand how the program works.
  8. The country involved makes a huge difference….the OP will be in Greece
  9. No way to put in a “standing order”. It must be done one day at a time.
  10. Yes, many are —— Princess, Royal Caribbean to name two
  11. Closed loop Caribbean so birth cert and Driving License are sufficient to cruise
  12. Not all travel agents give it but some do
  13. Do you have an original birth certificate (not photocopy.) that plus a US driving license will be sufficient
  14. Just skip that part. You can take care of it in person at the pier.
  15. Whether or not, they charge you for it, you should generously tip the Butler who serves it.
  16. Sometimes the pier staff DO enforce the arrival times. They work for the port, not Celebrity, and they watch for traffic flow and overcrowding in the terminal and they can, and do, enforce the arrival appointments when needed.
  17. That might not work in Southampton or Barcelona
  18. Constellation has a guest lecturer now talking about using DNA to solve murders and other mysteries and he is quite interesting. Sailing out of Tampa, western Caribbean.
  19. I think you might be in one of the rooms that was added after the ship was built and in-service from many years. Those rooms are newer than the other rooms and are equipped differently.
  20. I was in one of the far forward cabins on Silhouette in December, I think it was 8106, where there is a sharp turn to get into the stateroom and the scooter couldn’t really do it. They did not have the scooter in my state room— When I arrived, it was in the hallway adjacent. Since it was out of the way and there was a plug right there, after consulting with my steward that is where I parked it during that whole cruise.
