  1. I too was told of this new practice by our PCC. I believe and trust her. I was making a new booking and wanted a particular Vista Suite ... (we have booked this same suite on previous cruises and have it booked on several future sailings). Apparently, if a family/quad wants to book ... you will simply receive an email that you have been moved. Hmm!
  2. So ... Orange Party night has certainly caught on .... just look at some of the outfits ... Why not a .... 'Thong Seaview Pool Day' ... oh what fun ... and a few giggles.
  3. Thanks for all the `its always good to be cruising' posts. Keep `em coming. In your `research' ... have you noticed any new brands (alcohol). While on a November cruise we had asked about drink menus but were told they were in the process of being changed/updated with new suppliers/promoters ... and new price points.
  4. HAL has just announced four new Legendary Voyages for 2025-26 .... including “Glaciers & Volcanos: Alaska to Hawaii”
  5. From my experience, cancelling a few days prior to cruise (family passing) you are not eligible for refund or transfer. I did not have HAL insurance but was able to claim some expenses through credit card coverage.
  6. Try to add the 2nd night thru HAL ... there can be substantial savings for booking 2 nights ... ( it is not 2 x the 1 night rate). The Renaissance is on 17th St ... a great location ... walking distance to whatever you might need. You will love the Rotterdam.

  8. Too funny ... MDS received #4 today ... not the person who books and pays. We/he always chuckle when we see 'you account is being paid by another party'
  9. I was told the same thing when I called ... as I also could not use Shorex credit for the wait list. I did not book/pay. Low and behold a few days later another time slot popped up. Booked it, no issues.
  10. Currently on Rotterdam... suite guest... Club Orange is painfully slow. Dinner last night and Breakfast this am. Very, very busy .... me thinks too many are buying the CO option and changing the whole experience. Too bad for everyone.
  11. We also received boarding pass with code 13 days prior to sailing, Nov. 20.
