We are also booked on Grand Princess. It will be our first Princess cruise and we look forward to it. How does embarkation and muster drill work compared to Royal Caribbean?

@martincath....we would love to do the ebike tour but Mom said frequently getting on/off the bike and pedaling could be an issue with her knee issues.

Thanks everyone for the great info about Vancouver post cruise. My updated plan is to make a reservation at a hotel (2 rooms) near Canada Place. Pan Pacific, Executive, Coast Coal , Marriott Pinnacle are all pricey but still available. We can get off the ship, walk to the hotel, store our luggage, and go explore the city with a HoHo tour or similar. My mom has slight mobility issues making long walks or having to get up/down frequently. Looking for alternate suggestions for a fun way to see the city if you have them. Cab or Skytrain to the airport early the next morning for our 6 AM flights, which would be better?

Related question. We will be on Grand Princess arriving Vancouver on July 1st. Flights are 6:00 AM on July 2nd. Could use some ideas for sightseeing, food, and hotel rooms for a group of 5 (with luggage) ranging from 21-80 years old. Preferably drop off the luggage after disembarkation at a hotel. With 6 AM flight, how early should we get there to check bags, go through customs, and get to our gate with plenty of time?

We have a one way cruise on Grand Princess the last weekend of June ending in Vancouver. We disembark (with luggage) at 7 or 8 AM on a Saturday but our flight doesn't leave YVR until Sunday morning at 6 AM. Looking for suggestions for what to do with luggage (we plan to get a hotel at airport to spend night), and things to see and do in Vancouver on Saturday. There will be 5 of us ages 21-80. Can we get off the ship and take a bus/taxi/train asap or do passengers have to go through customs at the cruise terminal during disembarkation? Ravenna does look interesting but only opportunities to sightsee for us will be on a Sunday morning. Will it be possible to see the mosaics and will shops/restaurants be open on a Sunday morning?
