Sorry to jump on your thread. But does anyone know if you can leave the ship after check in and boarding? Is there a separate entrance to get back on the ship with your seapass card? Is it practical or would it be a waste of time to go back to old San Juan.

i've used many times squaremouth dot com. I can honestly say they have some of the best customer service anywhere.

Yes it can get full. We were on anthem for "Jersey Week" last year and there were over 1000 kids onboard. You really have to see how many kids are on your sailing. To combat this get on line 10-15 minutes early. Or if you don't want to do that, have the kids eat dinner with the adventure ocean staff. My Kids loved doing that.

We’ve already gone over this it just involves complicated adjustments ones of 2 ways: modify ship or build a whole new port.
I would guess modifying a ship would be cheaper and easier.

The new york area market is the largest in the U.S. If Royal can put an Oasis Class there they will. Will it work in the winter, no way. But May- October why not. I do believe Cape Liberty will get a new Quantum or Anthem back. And a icon class after that.

I have noticed that also. With RCI you always have to do the math.

I have looked at a few YouTube videos and it looks like the boat has no cover. Is there any shade? How much time is spent on the boat?
The boat I was on had some seats in the shade. The tour was about 6 hours long. Really was a great tour. Will be doing it again in april.

I always liked decks 10 -11. Anthem is a big ship, so I like to be by the elevators/ stairs. Never had a problem with noise . Since you have a 6 yo you might want a room by the forward elevators to be close to the kids club.

Does anyone know if the deluxe drink package still comes with the souvenir soda cup. Doesn't mention it in the cruise planner description anymore. Thinking this might be a change for 2019 and on sailings.
thanks

If you want to do a boat tour. I recommend Captain Bobs tour (Soualiga Destinations Boat Tours). Will take you all around the island. At Maho beach he will park the boat under the planes approach to watch the landing. Pinel island , and a couple of other beach and snorkeling spots. Great Time lots of fun.

When you first get on the ship there are ipads kiosks in front you.Use them to book ifly, northstar and the escape room I have found this to work out the best. Also if you can try and book northstar for a time in port (best time I think is before you depart bermuda), or else you're just looking at ocean.

I was on that sailing last year. It's called Jersey week. I heard there was over 1000 kids on board. Didn't bother me one bit, because i was with my kids. It's usually a Kids Sail Free cruise. Surprised RCI hasn't caught on.

Thinking about booking Anthem sailing of 4/5/2020. I believe it is the last sailing out of cape liberty before going overseas. My questions are.
Do they do anything special on this cruise to commemorate it or is it just like any other cruise.
And is there any reason that I should or should not book it.
I have been on Anthem a couple of times already , and the ports don't interest me that much. But any day on vacation is better than a day at work.
Thanks for any info.

12 yo daughter and I did the class on anthem. We had a great time And made at ton of sushi.I was surprised at how well it turned out.

They will split up groups 6-8, 9-11. But I will say that after 10pm the groups will be combined. Has been like that on every RC I have taken so far.

I had an OTW cabana at nellies. No one escorted me anywhere. They were basically like" The Foods over there". The cabana was nice but I thought the service sucked. For the amount you pay, they should of brought you the food like they do at coco cay.

There will be towels and a couple of bottles of water.

My question is I rented an over the water cabana at Nelly beach. There are 8 of us and I hear that’s the max. Is this a private part of the beach or can we just walk to cabana. We will probably be there before most of our group gets there. Can we go at different times or do we have to go as a group.

Not really private. Nellies is open to everyone. Yes you can go at different times.

First time we did ifly, we were allowed to switch and take photos of each other. On my last cruise(july 12 2018) we were not allowed to leave the standby area in the tube. If I were you I would book 2 separate times.

It will be for July 4th week
Ports seem to include as of now:
Kings Wharf, Bermuda
Phillipsburg, St. Maarten
San Juan, PR
Labadee, Haiti
Worried that some of these ports may still be a bot beat up from the hurricanes the past few years.
Just did this Itinerary July 12. Family and I loved it.
All of the stops were beautiful, but St. Maarten had the most visible damage.
Would not hesitate to do this itinerary again.

In Puerto Rico, Ijust love walking around Old San Juan, Go visit the forts. I think it was like $7 to get in to both of them.
Labadee is a beach day. Find a seat at columbus cove. I would recommend doing the dragon coaster. The zipline to me is overpriced. And I didnt think it was that good.
On Anthem As soon as you walk on uses the tablets right in front of you to book ifly, escape room and northstar if you like.
Did that 9 Day cruise last July and absolutely loved it.
