    Hi Everyone -

We are getting excited for our July cruise on the Anthem. We are going to 4 ports (Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and St. Marteens) and would love some tips for things to do without booking an excursion. We have been to Bermuda before and are comfortable finding our way around there, but have never been to any of the other 3 ports.

Also, any tips specifically to the Anthem? Just my husband and I....like to be active, but not necessarily huge drinkers; not against it and will have a drink or two, but not the center of our trip.

Hit me with the best tips you have especially for excursion free ports....

In Puerto  Rico, Ijust love walking around Old San Juan,  Go visit the forts. I think it was like $7 to get in to both of them.

Labadee is a beach day. Find a seat at columbus cove. I would recommend doing the dragon coaster. The zipline to me is overpriced. And I didnt think it was that good.

On Anthem As soon as you walk on uses the tablets  right in front of you to book ifly, escape room and northstar if you like.

Did that 9 Day cruise last July and absolutely loved it.

  2. Yes it can get full. We were on anthem for "Jersey  Week" last year and there were over 1000 kids onboard.   You really have to see how many  kids are on your sailing.  To combat this get on line 10-15 minutes early. Or if you don't  want to do that, have the kids eat dinner with the adventure ocean staff. My Kids loved doing that.

  3. Thinking about booking Anthem sailing  of 4/5/2020. I believe it is the last sailing out of cape liberty before going overseas.  My questions are.

Do they do anything special on this cruise to commemorate it or is it just like any other cruise.

And is there any reason that I should or should not book it.

I have been on Anthem a couple of times already , and the ports don't interest me that much. But any day on vacation  is better than a day at work.

    Thanks for any info.

  4. My question is I rented an over the water cabana at Nelly beach. There are 8 of us and I hear that’s the max. Is this a private part of the beach or can we just walk to cabana. We will probably be there before most of our group gets there. Can we go at different times or do we have to go as a group.

Not really private. Nellies is open to everyone. Yes you can go at different times.

  5. It will be for July 4th week

Ports seem to include as of now:

    Kings Wharf, Bermuda

    Phillipsburg, St. Maarten

    San Juan, PR

    Labadee, Haiti

Worried that some of these ports may still be a bot beat up from the hurricanes the past few years.

Just did this Itinerary July 12. Family and I loved it.

All of the stops were beautiful, but St. Maarten had the most visible damage.

Would not hesitate to do this itinerary again.
