  1. I actually ran into Dru in Nassau on March 31st.... He is working for Disney as a shopping team member (he was on the Disney Magic at the time)!! - I talked to him & wished him luck - he seemed like he wanted to keep a low profile, didn't want to talk about RCL much, just that this was his new gig !!
  2. Wow Ramjet, Thank for the offer - I would be interested - Really no interested in keeping the chip. Let me know how to correspond with you
  3. I do not plan on sailing on Harmony again, therefore I could not redeem that way.
  4. Ok - so, yes - I did it. After getting home from Harmony of the Seas and doing all of our laundry I found a $100.00 Casino Chip in my swimsuit from the Cruise. I'm wondering if there is a land based team @ RCL that I can somehow send this to to receive my $100.00 via check (even if there is a fee of sorts to perform the transaction). Otherwise, I guess I have a very pricey souvenir of my trip. Any valuable insight appreciated. Thanks
  5. Thanks to everyone for your insight... As the OP it is always interesting to see how these questions bring out so many strong feelings (both ways)... Some clarification for some who have posted. My mention of Diamond status was only because I wanted to point out this was not my 1st cruise. The four of us are a family, we just choose to book 2 cabins... As pointed out it actually costs MORE this way than booking 4 Pax in the same room. The other passengers were kids.... we should be able to eat together - no ? I understand that that is what the MDR is for, however its not like I was asking for non-related adults to join us. This example could certainly be used about the posts at Labadee.... Can the kids not share the cabanas because they are in a Central Park room ?? I don't believe that even the pundit(s) would say the kids should be allow to join the parents. Last but not least, if the Mgr would have made a suggestion such as "right now we're full - check back later" perhaps it would have allowed for the situation to evolve to a win - win for all; however it was the immediate determinate remark that really set me back (and what prompted this post in the 1st place).
  6. Hi everyone, I recently returned from Harmony of the Seas, and my family of 4 books (2) cabins - One a Junior Suite for my wife & I, and the other a Central Park Balcony for 2 boys, ages 18 & 15. We put one adult in each room, partnered with a child (because kids under 21 cannot have their own stateroom unless directly adjoining to the the parents room). So.... during our cruise I was declined reservations for dinner (yes I know Jr Suites only get dinner privileges) for my family of 4 because all travelers were not booked in a junior suite. I complained to the Coastal Kitchen manager, but she stated "we have a very strict policy to only allow suite guests to dine @ Coastal Kitchen"... really ?? We are a family of 4 !! Am I over reacting to her response or should I have the right to be disappointed with Royal?? - BTW We are all Diamond members, and have been allowed to dine @ Coastal on other ships when booking the same format as described above (Anthem just last year)... Interested in the communities thoughts ? Thanks in advance
  7. Hello, I have contacted several Jet Ski rental companies for my cruise which will be in St. Thomas on 7/10/2018....Wicked Watersports is closed for a family reunion & many others have not fully recovered from last year's hurricanes. Please share where you have recently rented Jet Skis from so I can prepare for the visit. Thanks in advance.
