  1. I have Medicare and I always thought that I would have NO medical coverage outside of the US. I also have a Blue Shield supplement Plan G. I just found out that they cover medical expenses outside of the US. Has anyone tried to get reimbursement? Was it successful? What kind of documentation did you need? I am about to head to Asia for a month and want to be prepared in case the unforeseen happens. Thanks
  2. You are probably OK since my Visa entry date was changed (by them) to one day prior to the date I put down. Best of Luck
  3. I was able to edit the original application so only paid the $25 once. The good news is that I was FINALLY approved.
  4. The website won’t let you grab a time. Before you get to that stage it say “Sorry, we hit a snag. Try again later”. The App says “Check in available” but when you click it, it does not go anywhere. My cruise just opened for check in today but others (on other cruises) say they have been trying for days.
  5. I am having the same problem. I have the option to check in on the web or the App but I get to the end of the questions and it says “ Sorry, we hit a snag. Try again later”. The weird thing is when I log into my account on line it says “View Boarding Pass”. When I click on that it takes me back to the Check In questions.
  6. Has anyone used VietnamVisaPro.net ?
  7. Any recommendations for agencies to handle Vietnam E-Visa for US citizens. I have applied thru the Vietnam government website and paid the $25. So far I have gotten 2 denials due to ‘incorrect photo’ (whatever that means) and 1 denial due to inadequate address for residency in Vietnam (even though I listed name of ship and detailed address of port). To top it off, every time I access the application to edit it, the dates for entry into the country are changed. It has been so frustrating. I’ll happily pay more to get this done for me. I’m looking for trustworthy agencies. Any suggestions?
  8. Does Celebrity take care of this for us? I hear that other cruise lines get Visas for everyone automatically.

    Kagoshima

    Thanks - good reminder!
  10. I know there is a way to look at menus and activities for cruises that you are not booked on through the App. I can’t remember how to do it. Can anyone help- please.
  11. Please share the location of the shuttle bus stop in downtown Kagoshima. Thanks..

    Kagoshima

We will be there in Kagoshima on the Millennium this coming October. Do you remember where the free shuttle bus drops you off in town?
  13. Thanks - that makes sense. I guess “you snooze- you lose”
  14. I am 100 days out from an Asia cruise and find that the basic sightseeing tour for a certain port is Sold Out. Do they generally add more spaces (another bus) as the cruise date gets closer? I wonder if the SOLD OUT notice is just there to get people to sign up for more pricey tours. I appreciate your experiences.
  15. Is it easy enough to get a taxi at the port to downtown Taipei or do you need to reserve one ahead of time? Thanks
  16. I appreciate any suggestions for hotels in Yokohama especially if they have a shuttle to the cruise port. TIA
  17. What recommendations do you all have? We do want a private or shared vehicle (not the train). Thanks in advance.
  18. I am searching for premium Economy tickets from SFO to Tokyo for our cruise in October of 2024. I came across a reasonable price for a Refundable Non-stop on ANA. I was booking thru the United website and wanted to try ANA. I was about to book when I realized that United does not give you credit for ANY miles when you book Premium Economy. They do for Economy or Business class but not for Premium Economy. I called United to see if this was an error and they said NO, it is not a mistake. Just wanted you all to be aware. I almost missed that detail.
  19. How much are gratuities on a Celebrity cruise? $17.50 USD per person, per day for Inside, Ocean View, and Veranda cabins. $18.00 USD per person, per day for Concierge Class and AquaClass cabins. $21.00 USD per person, per day for those staying in The Retreat. dated April 2023
  20. Here are the entrees for Day 1 of our upcoming cruise on Reflection.
  21. What did you bring back from the Greek Isles that was the most popular for your adult children and spouses? Something useful but unique to the area.
  22. But sometimes one spouse wants to take a shower and go to bed where the other spouse wants to sit out in the fresh air and share drinks with their cruising companions.
  23. I wish they did because we generally cruise together with friends or family booking side by side cabins and we join our balconies together. This is the way we like to socialize with a drink in the evenings. I want to try the new ships but this stops me.
