Jean you’re a positive person and its your sense of humor that makes sailing FUN
-
LOL…agree totally. If you want true exclusivity travel Oceania or Seabourn and don’t bother with a so so limited option.
-
Yes, bahamas, puerto rico, us virginislands, and canada follow ADA guidelines
-
Law simply states that your companion/caregiver may accompany you wherever you go and be offered the same opportunities as long as they accompany you. The laws of US and Bahamas are direct and do not in any way divert from ADA travel.`````````
-
If you deem your caregiver a guardian they have absolute right. Bahamian law same. RCL ships under Bahamian law.
-
Guardian MUST absolutely be afforded absolute benefits as their trustees.

Trust me, I know the difference. If your companion is deemed your caregiver and guardian they have absolute right and privilege to your activity! Wherever and whatever you do as long as you are accompanying them. Parent/child; caregiver/guardian. Not with the individual, then no of course. With them, then absolutely. Challenge this and you will lose a case.

Not sure if you are questioning the law or deciding who has access
-
If ship sails under Bahamas, it must adhere to Bahamian LAWS, which mirror to ADA
-
Yes my dear traveler, they must respect the law.

Reminds me of Beatles song: Taxman. If you sit too long they’ll tax your seat, walk too fast they’ll tax your feet

I’m dreaming of a warm tiled lounger…just like the ones I Used to know… way back when thermal suites included lol

Your travel companion that is in your stateroom and presides over your movement about a ship is considered your travel “guardian”. You may file a well deserved case if they are denied responsibility even temporarily for your movements. Such as the diamond lounge. As your “guardian” they are qualified to your rights on board.

Not understanding. I log in and go to planner and select dining. Nothing available. Been like that for weeks, i called them and agent was baffled. I called my travel agent and they baffled as well.
-
We have booked Wonder for December 30 - Jan 7 8 night cruise. RCL has not posted the specialty dining options yet in the planner on their website.

Some ships you have to go up back down and around to get where you actually want to be. To be honest, most ships are not accessible friendly. They have to meet minor requirements demanded by the us gov’t to operate and port in US, want to go on helipad and have a look around? Forget it!!!! Until it happens to them, they aren’t thinking about you. Just the way it is.

I noticed on my booking the option to purchase, but the reservation screen was confusing. There were appointment times, but the cost seemed like it would be for the whole cruise. Also it would only let me register myself and not my partner. I assume this prompted your question, as I had the same one! I hope someone who has booked this can explain how the reservation system should work.
I booked thermal pkg for 2 ppl. It let me do two at once but only allowed us to reserve a time for day 1
Embarkation day with minor mobility issues
