Hi again!  We are from Bay City. My brother lives in Sterling Heights. The. Advice about waiting on airfare was good. I have seen prices around 600. Round trip so hang on. Have you checked out the roll call?  It’s been fairly quiet but picking up a bit now. Lots of information 😊

We are on the same cruise. It is a very expensive cruise because of the itinerary. We usually do a 2B balcony. It is less than aqua class and still nice balconies. It would save some money for sure😊😊

I am not sure when you are leaving but ask to be put on a waiting list for an accessible cabin. Not sure if it helps but worth a try. Next I would check every day or so to see if one becomes available. Final payment time often opens one up. We do an accessible balcony and this has worked for us.  Good luck😊

We will be on the Reflection next September. We both use mobility scooters. It looks impossible for us going to shore with them. Hopefully my DH can use a walker. I am thinking a ship tour would be best. The downside is they drop folks at the cable car. Does anyone have any other ideas?

We just booked this cruise today. We had to cancel our cruise for November as I just had foot surgery. This itinerary looks so exciting. First time for Greece for us. Love all the planning! :D

We were allowed to leave our scooter by the elevators when getting off the ship. Normally we go off on them but have also left them behind. Also scooters can be parked by the MDR door and walk in if able.

Thank you for all your comments. I will send an email and see if I get a positive response. I do recognize the 10% was a good offer but we have two Celebrity cruises booked in the next year and do not expect to cruise on RCCL. They did extend it to two years but our favorite by far is Celebrity. Celebrity told me if they change it to OBC it could transfer over. Of course the answer was No!

We recently returned from the Anthem of the Seas. We booked a tour of New York City ending at the airport. We had a large bus which was fine but the air conditioner was not working. They tried to get another bus as you could barely breathe it was so hot. Finally they got two vans that took about half of us to the airport. We missed most of our tour. It also extended our wait time at the airport. I called RCCL expecting some compensation but their idea of compensation was a 10% discount on a future cruise. I asked it to be applied to Celebrity. They refused. We only cruise Celebrity so it is useless. I am really upset with RCCL. This made me sure no future cruise on a RCCL!

Drink pkg: I don't know how many perks everyone got. Did you know if you don't take those perks the cabin price is much less? Of course there is the $300 obc that could replace the bev pkg. Right now they are offering all three. We love the drink pkg😄😄

We have stayed at the Red Roof Plus by the airport. They have a free shuttle and the return was 10.00 p/p. No problem at all with the pickup. There is a nice pool but the breakfast is not very good. Very crowded and nothing good to eat. The shuttle to the ship can be a long wait. I will say the rooms are nice.

I want to make sure I have this right. My kids have no credit card. They do have $225. Obc for a 6 night cruise. They have tips paid and beverage pkg. From what I have read they should not need a deposit. When doing the online checkin does it allow you to select cash? Thanks.

We also need one for my DH. They can be very hard to come by. If we cannot get one when booking I have to check every day for one to open. We usually find one but usually are booking a year in advance. As for getting one after final payment I think it would be very difficult with a guarantee.

I understand you can upgrade after final pymt as long as it is at least $1.00 more. Honestly I have never been able to get an upgrade that way. I have tried but they always want way more money and reduced perks. I do think the Exciting Deals do not have perks.

We have used our's several times on Celebrity with no problems. I am not sure about the holds.

My DH has used his own scooter on several cruises. We have done a lot of private excursions and a few ship excursions. Celebrity will not allow scooters on any of their tenders sometimes the port will use their own so you can board them but they are few and far between. He has gotten on a boat before but they were very large. On our last cruise they said we would be okay on one of their excursions but once on board they did not think so. Long story short it was no problem at all. The big busses can easily accommodate a scooter underneath😄

We are doing a transatlantic so if we park at the port will we be able to get back to our car from the airport in the late afternoon?

We just came off the Equinox. It was an outstanding cruise! We had the same experience two years ago where a fellow hated X and loved Holland. One night of that and we changed tables. No way will we let someone else's negativity spoil our cruise.

Yes that huge online agency does charge a 100. Canc fee. They are not even flexible if rebooking. It usually eliminates price drops 😒

It did change and now eliminates ocean view. I did see one of the BIG online agency is offering a 2 day special including ocean view. :)

I have not had much luck getting a price drop since the 123 promo. Usually they tell me that lower price does not include the promo. Also the one online agency charges a fee to cancel even if immediately rebooking. Also they say the special rates for resident, etc.are not combinable with the 123 promo. Lots of rules :( I would say no obc for booking on a cruise and canceling to rebook. Not sure but sounds probable.

We have been on 30 cruises and it has been the last two X ones that have left me disappointed with the day of disembarkation. I am wondering if the change in the management has changed things. We have been on 8 celebrity cruises. Last year we took our adult children on Carnival and found last morning in the MDR the same as every other day. That was a very nice experience in Comparison to X. I hope X is reading this. We will be on the Silhouette in April again so I am hoping for a better experience.

The worst we experienced was the last breakfast in the MDR. There was no service at all. They give you the express breakfast which was scrambled egg and sausage. We tried to get toast but that never happened. We saw tables around us not cleaned off. It certainly left us with a bad taste. Not the best impression. I think next time we will settle for Danish in the Elite waiting area. The buffet is also crazy on the last day. Very disappointing :(

Last December on the Silhouette we were missing obc. It was a 7 day and we did have a lot of obc. Someone at X had taken it upon themselves to remove some. It took 5 days of constant bugging to get it resolved. That was the 1st time that ever happened. I had emailed my TA and he never responded till we were home. Needless to say he is no longer our T A :(

My ta said no conversion to a military rate for an upgrade after final payment. :confused:
