The Mustang is nice but the ionic 5 does seem to sit higher and has more room. Maybe Mustang more sporty but really enjoyed IONIQ. Its a personal choice

Just back from Skagway last week. Rented a Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric from Klondike cars and it was great. Plenty of room for 2 kids. You have the day to yourself to go to Emerald lake. You can stop at suspension bridge and Carcross. It was great, I was going to do the train but changed and so glad I did. Ioniq5 is so fun to drive and a great car. Say hello to Nicole the owner. This really sucks considering that I am booked for a September cruise on royal and now I will have to pay for Alfredos. Now that your booked you have no choice but to pay $30 for 2 people. Good Job Princess

Has anyone been on Royal to Alaska this year? I was wondering how the water shuttle in Skagway was and how hard and long it took to get to town. I believe the ships dock in RRF (railroad front) which requires water shuttle. It says ship docks at 6am so when do they start letting you off. Any info helps. Thanks

On Sky now with 3407 passengers. very crowded but under control. crew is fantastic, food is very good and the entertainment group is fantastic. Rock opera is probably the best show I've heard on a cruise ship. The singers are really good. beautiful ship

No obstruction, I just paid for an upgrade from my BW obstructed balcony E417 to a MC Mini Suite E217 which is a little further back from E206. All minis are the same layout the only problem with these are the noise from the theater. Im leaving in 8 days so ill find out how noisy they are

how many cabins back from the front of the ship before the noise from the theater start to subside

I just read a review of someone who got an upgrade to a mini suite over the theater and it was so noisy. Just like what I did. Now I'm sick that I spent so much for an upgrade that is really a downgrade. So if your thinking about upgrading be careful about where you wind up. Im leaving in 13 days and just hoping something opens up not over the theater. but I think the ship if pretty full so I'm doubtful

Has anyone experienced a lot of noise from the shows in the theater at night. I just got moved to cabin E217 mid forward on sky princess mini suite and was worried there would be quite a bit of noise. Emerald deck 8 mid forward. Thanks

I think you travel agent can change the cabin if the exact same category. I just upgraded from obstructed balcony to mini suite for 255 pp. The only problem is that it is over the theater. I just hope that the noise is not too bad. Cruise is almost sold out so I cannot change to another mini suite. 1035 is definitely too much may price will come down

I got upgraded from midship (BW E417) emerald deck on sky to mini suite (MC E217) emerald deck. Now I'm worried that it will be too noisy above the theater. I paid total of $510 for the upgrade and now I'm not sure it was worth it. Has anyone been above the theater on emerald deck and how bad was it. Be careful bidding for upgrade because of location change

Just received confirmation that my bid for mini suite was confirmed. Cruise is about 23 days out. I had balcony obstructed (BW) on emerald deck and went to MC on emerald deck. I bid on deluxe balcony (minimum bid of 45) premium deluxe balcony (I think minimum bid was 95 but I bid 155) and mini suite(minimum bid was 185 and I bid 255) I got the cruise for a discount rate since they were having a promotion so I thought I would go higher on the upgrade. Might have been able to bid a little less but really wanted the extra room. My mini is by forward steps and the bw was mid ship. but not too much difference. Cruise is 7 day carribean on sky
