  1. We fly home immediately after disembarkation in Lima on Sunday. It has been a fabulous cruise with gorgeous weather and very smooth sea. Nova is fantastic, so spacious and great staff and food. The only disappointment was the paid dinners in La Dame and Kaseiki, which were not worth the money. We have previously enjoyed dinners in these restaurants on Moon and Muse, but not here. The eleven course menu at Chef’s Table was a very nice experience, and worth paying extra for.
  2. No, it is not linkable. It is print screens of today’s electronic version of the Chronicles. It is available via mycruise.com, which is only accessible while onboard.
  3. We are on Nova now, and the shows have so far always started at 10 pm. And yes, Salt Bar is great.
  4. We had dinner at La Dame last week on Nova. We found it very disappointing and not worth the new price tag of USD 160 per person, so we cancelled our second reservation. We have previously enjoyed La Dame dinners on Muse and Moon, but not this one. It is simply too similar to dishes served in other restaurants with no extra charge. The foie gras terrine was really bad, and the selection of French cheeses is of the cheapest kind you find in supermarkets. Our Kaseiki dinner with a price tag of USD 80 per person was just OK, and also not worth the money. However, the Chef's Table experience was well worth the USD 180 charge. Silver Note on Nova is fabulous. The new food concept is great, and we love the decor and atmosphere. A real winner. Salt Kitchen is fantastic as well with interesting and tasty local dishes.
  5. This sounds very odd to me. How would they lock off the second bedroom, which is very much part of the Master Suite as such? We have three times stayed in a Master Suite (two people), and always had the full suite at our disposal, including the second bedroom and bathroom.
  6. Does anyone have any information on when the 2025/26 cruises will be released? I have previously seen August 7 mentioned, but that obviously didn't happen. Thanks!
  7. Regent also cancelled our Splendor booking in March 2024 due to a charter, so you are not necessarily better off by booking Regent.
  8. We were also booked on the March 17, 2024 cruise, which was cancelled. We were informed of the cancellation early February, and the following FCC was offered: Instead, guests may choose to receive an up to €900 Future Cruise Credit (FCC). Suite Category Future Cruise Credit (per guest) Distinctive Suites RS-SS €900 Penthouse Suites A-C €700 Concierge Suites & Below D-H €450
  9. Aren't you only visiting Busan in South Korea? The women diver excursion is in Jeju.
  10. We were in Owner Suite 945 on Muse in December/January, and loved this suite. Yes, we sometimes heard some scraping of chairs in the morning around 7am, but nothing bad and it usually only lasted 10 minutes. It didn't bother us at all, as we were out of bed anyway. The usual sound of creaking walls and ceilings, when the ship is moving, is much louder than the occasional noise coming from the pool deck. We had much more noise during our previous cruise in Grand suite 801, where it gets very noisy when the anchor is dropped, sometimes very early in the morning. We much prefer 945. We would stay in 945 again without any hesitation.
  11. I have never seen Bulgari in Grand/Master suites on Regent. We always get Bottega Veneta and Guerlain.
  12. The bowties never showed up in the calendar for the Muse cruise we did in December despite having three formal nights during the cruise. We have previously made restaurant bookings according to the bowtie information in the calendar for a Moon cruise, but the formal nights turned out to be on different days. So, the bowties are not 100% reliable.
  13. As from March 13, masks are no longer required on flights to Japan https://asia.nikkei.com/Spotlight/Coronavirus/Japanese-airlines-stop-requiring-masks-on-board-from-March-13 It is part of a general ease of the Japanese mask wearing guidelines https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14837541
  14. The Japanese government announced on November 15 that cruises would be allowed to resume, if they follow the guidelines issued by the government. These guidelines include a pre-embarkation Covid test, so I don't think it is fair to say that it is Regent imposing this test. https://crew-center.com/japan-lifts-entry-ban-international-cruise-ships Self-testing was also accepted when we embarked in Sydney in December. I find it quite normal that this pre-cruise testing requirement is not among the rules for entering the country, as embarking a cruise ship has nothing to do with entering the country.
  15. Considering that Self-Testing is accepted, it isn't really much of a hassle, and there is no need to find a local clinic. We embark on March 28, and it is obviously not ideal flying to Japan without being 100% sure to be able to embark. However, the testing requirement was made clear when it was announced that Japan would allow cruises to resume. An alternative to Self-Testing is this clinic close to Tokyo Hilton at Shinjuku station: https://www.team-medical.or.jp/location/english/
  16. What happened to episode 3 and 4 of season 2? When will they air?
  17. During our Muse cruise in December/January we were told that Starlink had been installed, but it will only be activated in March.
  18. Shinko Pier Cruise Terminal, Yokohama, is used in March 2023
  19. It was indeed rather chaotic and very slow in Sydney a couple of days ago with unclear procedures. We arrived at 1:35pm, were given cards showing check-in group 7, we were asked to fill in the health questionnaire, and then sit down and wait. Later when our group was called, we were told that we had to go to a different desk first to get a pink sticker to check the NZ immigration documents. If we had known, we could easily have done that during the long waiting time. When the big crowds arrived after 2pm, it got very chaotic as not everyone were told that a check-in number card was needed, so they just tried to immediately line up for check-in. Check-in started at 2pm, and half an hour later they had only managed to process group consisting of +/-10 people. As part of group 7, we were eventually on the ship at 3:30pm, but we were among the lucky ones, as there were +/- 20 check-in groups.
  20. Yes, it was DHL returning the luggage to the cruise terminal, with this justification :cargo laws restrict us from shipping said products as they can explode if not in an air regulated cabin hold I still find it slightly odd, as toiletries, cosmetics, medicine, vitamins, electronic devices, batteries or any food can be bought online, and shipped without any problem.
  21. I find it odd that there is still only computer generated photos/videos available of the ship. Even in the official launch email from Ritz Carlton Yacht. I would be interested in seeing the real thing
  22. We have done the Greek islands twice in October. Perfect warm weather, and we didn't notice any closed shops or restaurants.
  23. I was told 60 days in advance. The email address is : SereneSpa@rssc.com
  24. Well, this web page actually says 'or anything with a high alcohol content', so there is some inconsistency: https://support.luggageforward.com/article/242-ship#send I suppose that many people don't realize that ordinary toiletries contain some kind of alcohol, and consequently are disallowed, but I also doubt that the luggage would have been stopped, if moisturizer and cream had been the only offense. Luggage Forward has now refunded USD 100 for items that they acknowledge were unduly removed (toothpaste, razor, some toiletries without alcohol).
