I did a search on this and could not find any answers. What do you tip the drivers and guides on the private tours you book? I am specifically asking about the Carribean but would be interested in knowing other areas as well. Say the tour is 5-6 hours and the cost per person was $80-100. And the driver and guide were with you the whole time. $10? $20 each? What about the guides at the 'stops' along the tour?
I want to have a guide to what to expect so that I can go above if I want or just hit the 'average' based on our experience. But I don't want to think I am going above and yet just hitting average or below average, if that makes sense. Thanks for the help.

You could try uploading them on the actual site as opposed to using the app?
I am also looking forward to the rest of the review, I’ll be on the Escape in 12 days!

I will be on the same cruise! Have you joined the roll call for this cruise on cc? https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2428870

I have been obsessed with this thread since I found it. To the detriment of life and work around me! :-) So thankful to all who have taken the time to put their thoughts and especially the first time cruisers who 'came back' and said what they learned from here. I leave Miami in 17 days and I am beyond excited. Now to catch up on work before I leave.

Thanks for all the help. I do get motion sick sometimes in the car and that's why it concerns me for our first cruise. Based on everyone's comments, I will start taking the dramamine on Friday. I am excited to go!

I am concerned about getting seasick and already bought both regular and non-drowsy Dramamine. But what if I run out? I am reading on here that there are some cruise lines that give out pills for free. Just wondering about NCL.

We are going on our first cruise ever and our first stop is in Falmouth. Never been to Jamaica so everything is open. We are 48, not very athletic but definitely willing to swim, climb falls, jump in, etc. We need to choose where to go. If you've been to both, which would you choose for us? If you've only been to one, what did you like/not like?

Following - we are on the Escape in 3 weeks!

Our room is 5439. I am trying to look at the deck plans and it seems like that might be right under the theater? Not entirely sure. But good to know that it's the best place to be for the motion sickness. That's my biggest worry about going.

My husband and I will be taking our first cruise ever on the Escape later this month. I get motion sickness at times and was told to 'go low' for picking our cabin. So when I booked, I went with the lowest, which was deck 5. Now as I learn more, I am realizing that this is below the theater, atrium, etc. So will it be really noisy? I can't find anything on the board about this. Any feedback is helpful.
Pearl - good activities on board for young adults?

We are taking a 5 day cruise in early Jan on the Pearl with my 19 and 23 year old 'kids'. This will be their first cruise and second for my husband and I. We only have two ports - Harvest Caye and Costa Maya. I am wondering if there are any tips on things that they will want to do while we have our days at sea? I see the list on ncl.com of what is on the ship but wondered if there were any suggestions on best things for them to plan to do. Or should we just plan on lowkey card playing in the sun types of days?
