  1. kd - from the post I can only surmize that you have yet to sail in AQ. Be that as it may, you will find that for some, AQ is the way to go AND if the pricing is the same or better either you or your TA need to call X to figure out how to snatch up the deal... Have you read the description of AQ cabins and their amenities, yet? For us, it would be a no brainer to make the change despite any possible deposit loss/adjustment were the pricing the same or better than a verandah. In the end, it is up to you with some salient input, as to if is worth it or not for you... Good luck and bon voyage
  2. One can always ask for either of those desserts each day if they do not appear on the menu and one evening you may be surprized that it magically appears.... So not to fret if not on the menu.... bon appetit and bon voyage
  3. I Am vegan and in all of my sailings, only twice was there a foul up and they were rectified immediately. You or your TA will want to alert X to any food allergies, that way when you visit the Maitre d' upon boarding verify they have been alerted and they will help you select meals which are friendly.... bon appetit and bon voyage
  4. How about we do this, I meet you at the ship and handle the two (2) bottles of Blanton's for you.... LOL Cheers and bon voyage
  5. Blanton's is not currently on any X ship... to my knowledge otherwise I would have been ordering it... Additionally, passengers can only bring wine aboard and not hard liquor. Were I not know this and had it confiscated at the luggage scan or in the naughty room, it would be quite a hard decision as to if I were going on that sailing as I love my Blanton's... LOL Cheers and bon voyage
  6. Saved a few hundred $ on already booked tours.... bon voyage
  7. We have a morning flight from FCO to LHR and are showing only 90 minutes to make connection to EWR flight, all on BA... Is this feasible and/or doable? TIA and bon voyage
  8. dlw - You can do it either way.... Cheers and bon voyage
  9. Yes, two (2) dinners and a lunch... The group wants dinners in Murano and Tuscan... some of us will do lunch in So5. Thought it was a good offer, but did not remember the 'original cost' of the three (3) meal package... LOL Thank you, bon appetit and bon voyage
  10. Hello all - we will be on The Reflection in September for nine (9) nights and I see there is a SD sale price of $93.99 p/p with original pricing of $135 p/p plus gratuities... My question is: $135 p/p the original pricing for this package or not, if anyone knows??? I cannot remember at all, even though I did see the package offered way back when we originally booked... TIA, bon appetit and bon voyage
  11. Dad - Please feel free to spend more of my inheritance, just as long as you leave enough for one (1) B2B in a RS... LOL 🤣 bon voyage
  12. gj bringing the stock shown in the background??? LOL If so, I wish we were boarding together.... 😂 Cheers and bon voyage
  13. Would not indicating that one wanted to book two (2) cabins on the website bring up any available cabins which are connected, if any were available??? Just a thought, it is quite possible that this was done already... bon voyage
  14. A third question: what happens if you need to get off the ship to return home (hopefully not)? Not sure how that works... bon voyage
  15. hc are you suggesting that X's IT system is on drugs??? LOL bon voyage
  16. Nahhh, just make sure you bring your smartphone into the exam... no answer sheet needed, then... LOL... bon voyage
  17. Yes, you are a bit early for the app for your specific sailing, yet for a good idea you can access a similar sailing on the same ship sailing sooner. bon appetit and bon voyage
  18. I can concur with this observation, we went there once on X and I, along with others decided to return to the ship after one (1) hour.... bon voyage
  19. tr thanks!!! LOL bon appetit and bon voyage
  20. My experience being a vegan and sailing on X, is that wherever I dine, I can construct the menu to my liking and needs/desires. I Am a low-fat vegan and there has been very few issues IME.... Let X Special Services know before you board and once on board, let the Maître d' know and then your wait staff in the MDR... You can get the next nights menu in advance and then construct your meal from there... This is not to say that there will not be a foul up here and there, yes, there could be and as such I Am vigilant until I feel comfortable that all is working okay... in the kitchen. Same for Specialty Dining, they will talk to the MDR kitchen about what to prepare if you do not provide them an idea of what is good... bon appetit and bon voyage
