  1. My wife and I are thinking about a cruise to the Galapagos. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.
  2. While we like HAL, our last cruise was on Celebrity Edge and the dining options and service was quite a bit better than HAL
  3. Lobster days sounds great. We did a similar cruise on Edge and looking forward to Beyond
  4. Planning to do this trip also, curious to see how much you all like it
  5. This 72 year old will not leave the house without a watch on. I think I have about 8 of them now. One of the glow in the dark one goes on cruises and any other vacation with me
  6. All these comments remind me of when I was younger and my dad and my uncles would discuss, sometimes heatedly, which was the best car brand, you were a Ford man, a Chevy man or a Chrysler man. In retrospect all had pros and cons but you could never convince any of them of that, they all had there favorites
  7. Totaly agree. I was 67 when we did our first HAL and felt like a kid compared to most of the passengers
  8. The library closed due to covid, same with magazines in waiting rooms
  9. Different cruise lines have different clientele. Disney for kids, HAL for older folks etc. We love Celebrity and fall between those two generations
  10. Is that a no for veranda and dining venues?
  11. We sailed on the Edge just before covid shut things down. Loved the Veranda and all the dining options. My question is do all the Celebrity ships have the same dining options? The same type of Veranda? Thanks for your help
  12. Can anyone explain to me the difference between Main Dining Room 4, Main Dining Room 5 and My time dining room and if you prefer any of them
  13. New to RCL. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Main Dining Room 4, Main Dinining Room 5 and My Time Dinining Room?
  14. We are going on our first cruise with RCL. Wondering about the MDR and if anyone has suggestions to alternates
  15. I prefer Celebrity for dining. HAL is okay but for us a set dinner time is not always convenient and there were times we had to wait for up to 30 minutes if we wanted to dine at a different time than our reserved seating time. I did find the beds comfortable and I also have some back issues
  16. On our last HAL cruise, in 2019, I think I there were 3 or 4 gentlemen I saw in a tux. I was not one of them
