Which cruise are you on? We've bid on a few on the Edge for next month and keeping our fingers crossed!

Most places in 'Zone 1' are fine for seeing the sights, just avoid City of London as it shuts down at the weekend and lots of bars and restaurants are closed.

We've just bid on moveup and our cruise isn't until late March, seems very early!

We're debating bidding on a SS from IV, but after reading the T&Cs and room description it seems pretty clear that the retreat and luminae would not be included if we were successful. We've reached out to celebrity to double check this, as it differs from info on this forum, but wording on the website does state that no benefits / perks are included. I hope this is not the case.

We're also looking elsewhere in future, possibly Virgin but open to alternatives. For context as I know a few people have said it might be an age driven thing, we are both 31 and fed up with the extra charges, daft prices, and reduction in food quality.

We've seen that our cruise is being advertised as partially chartered for a swinging group, not sure how that will work! Feeling a little apprehensive...

On the reflection last year in Michael's / Retreat Lounge we got chatting to a woman who had been invited on board by Celebrity to share content online and was told to film as much as possible. She and her brother were lovely and one of the nicest we met onboard so we were glad they were there! Much nicer than another couple who got very vocal about their political views... I think it's likely Celebrity invite a few 'influencers' on each cruise as its probably fairly cost effective marketing for them.

I tried it when we were given lots of OBC. It was fun and definitely different, but I don't think there is any additional benefit beyond a normal massage. It was also let down by very hard selling of products at the end and pushing for a tip, certainly took some of the relaxation away!

We have the UK offer (£150 back on £1000). Our cruise isn't until March 2024 so we would be paying it off very early if we used it. Does anyone know what happens if we pay it off early and then can't go for whatever reason (us cancelling rather than celebrity)? Would we only get that back as credit rather than refund back to the card?

This reflects our experience too. We had a sailing around Mykonos beaches trip we were looking forward to today. The ship had to tender due to high winds and so we thought the excursion might be cancelled. It went ahead (navigation showing Beaufort scale of 6-7) and it was awful. The waves were so bad everyone had to cram inside the sailing boat as the waves kept coming over the deck, some had to sit on the floor. They cancelled the only stop where there was opportunity to swim in the sea as it was too windy. They then took us to a beach, only gave us 45 minutes and we were told it was €30 - €50 to use the sun bed and umbrella. If we chose not to pay we were told to move further down the beach. It was honestly awful and not the relaxing experience we were expected. Gave us a really bad impression of the celebrity excursions and the island. We left comments with guest relations but I am hoping for a full refund. At certain points I would have paid anything to be back on the ship or land! Fingers crossed our Athens and Pompeii tours are better!

Hi all, do you recommend booking a ticket for the Acropolis in advance? We had an excursion booked but just realised it doesn't actually include it - just "a view from below"! We'll be travelling mid-June on a Wednesday.
