Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I 100% agree with you. I was just C&Ping from their site. That is why I said they should talk to the massage therapist directly.
  2. Officiallyon the ship no. But my suggestion would be to join the FB groups and ask around, there is always kids in that age range that could meet up. My son is 22 and has Autism and he has meet some amazing people that way.
  3. I know this isnt related to pregnancy. But Last cruise we had a couple massage and I was 7 months post open heart bypass surgery. They told me that they wouldn't do the massage if I had anesthesia in the last 6 months. They were very careful with the full body massage and during the first part where they take all the info listened everything that I had done and what I needed and worked around the areas. So what I am thinking is that if there are any concerns its best to talk to the massage therapist directly. This is the info that I got for my TA site. Hope this helps in some way. 4. I know I can use them on shore and have a few times but mainly use them on the ship. I am not sure how it works for everyone but we have the plan that gives all of our lines 1 free travel pass a month. Had it a few years. One of the main reasons I will not switch plans. I was reading through the fine print of it and I see where it only shows on land. Wondering if that is because of the plan we have? No clue. Going to do some more digging and see what I can come up with.
  5. I did not end up getting the recliner. I went with the suggestion to use the blow up wedge from amazon since I needed something from the cruise and the hotels before and after the cruise and worked out nicely. Could blow them up to the height that I needed to be comfortable at each place I stayed. Even used it under my feet when I was sitting in the chairs in the rooms.
  6. I am not to sure about the $30 a day for cell service. But if you have Verizon you can use/ sign up for Travel Pass. We get 1 pass a month free and its good for 24 hour travelpass session. They stack up to 12 a year. So when ever we travel we have 12 days of passes we can use. If I turn airplane mode off on my phone it will pop up as Cell at Sea and ask if I want to buy it for $10 a day. I would hit yes and then use it for 24 hours. After the 24 hours it will pop up and ask me again, etc, etc. When my bill comes in it will say for example $70 added for Cell at Sea charges then the next line will say -$10 Travel pass assigned for 999-999-9999 listed 7 times. I have never used it to make calls. I use mine as a back up to Carnival internet in case the internet is spotting and going in and out as I have to have the internet to run my Dexcom/Libre device for blood sugars.
  7. As someone who use to work as a CSR for Carnival, We all do not actually work for Carnival. We work for ourselves from home. Arise is the company that out sources the calls for Carnival to us. They also do Disney, Comcast, Turbo Tax, etc. I am getting off track but there is a point to all this. When ever we get a call we have to document everything that is said into the booking notes. The notes will pop up when we get a call and our CSR # is automatically generated into that document. It can not be erased. When we are type in a booking# all the info will pop up as well as that note spot. Everything from the first call on that booking to the last will be documented. For example. You can call and give me a booking # from 2004 and I can tell you everything that was talked about in that phone call and what the issue was. So for Carnival to tell you they can't find that information means 1 of 2 things. 1 that who ever took the initial call did not document what was going on and after the call changed the address them selves. If that's the case they would be able to see there was no info documented and which agent did it. Or 2. That the person answering the phones had muli booking documents opened from each call they took and did not finish them out like they where suppose to and after 6 minutes of that call being ended what ever they where typing in the current booking got auto saved into the wrong booking#.
  8. When I go to use it, it tells me that All the guests have either purchased a Cheers! or Bottomless Bubbles package. So how do I get it to clear so that I can purchase? Anyone else had this issues? Thanks.
  9. Do you know if they where given a discount? Or just able to use it the one day? Or the whole cruise? I saw someone on JH page say they got 50% off onboard. So much going on, hard to know whos getting what.
  10. Honestly its all situational and up in the air. If I felt safe enough to stay and the hotel was saying it was fine then more then likely that is what I would have done as well. I personally would rather be on the ship if a storm is coming since they can outrun the storms in the ocean and we cant really on land. But as long as you where safe and happy and still had a great time thats all that really matters.
  11. we got it for everyone in the cabin last night. We have never purchased it before. I have always wanted to try the different drinks but couldn't see spending $1800 for us to try different things. I also can't see spending $15 for a drink that I might not like. The glitch was letting you purchase it for the price of 1 day instead of the cruise length. Would be awesome if they let the one day stand. So we could try all the things and see if we liked them or not. Would let people that are on the fence about getting it see if its worth to them. It might just get more sales in the long run. Either way if they cancel it on us, its no big loss and if we get to keep it then its a win. I just hope they don't be like, we are canceling and you will receive a refund in 27 business days. lol
  12. Is that included with the bottomless bubbles package?
  13. Buy the cases of water before you go and buy her the mocktails and coffee with your cheers package. It does not count against the 15 daily limit. We asked about doing this last time with my teenage son and they said, they didn't sweat the coffee shareage, it was more the alcohol. But the tech answer is no you can't share. But if you are buying the coffees get the B6G1 free cards.
  14. Lets say your excursion is $100. You will be charged $100 and then you will get a credit on your statement for $10. Hope that helps.
  15. I will be sailing on mardi Gras in Sept and wondering if anyone has a photo of the current specials going on at Pixels. Trying to see if its worth buying the packages early online or waiting to see if they have anything shutterfly related on specials. Thanks so much in advanced.
