  1. Should I bring extra parts for my CPAP on the cruise or is it possible to order them shipped to one of our ports? Are there any stores in the ports that sell CPAP supplies? We will be stopping in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan

  2. We will be cruising in July of 2023 and stopping in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. Are there any great places to get all you can eat seafood? I would say all you can eat crab, but one of the individuals in our party is allergic to crab. TIA

Edit: It is my MIL that is allergic to crab, so now that I think about it all you can eat crab might not be a bad idea 😂😂😂

This is a bit concerning that you had to start a second thread about the same subject - apparently not liking the answers given previously? Every ship line that I know about that has a drink package with a daily limit always resets at midnight, ship time and counts the number of drinks. How can you reasonably expect a different answer?

It's not that I had to start a second thread because I didn't like the answer in the previous thread. I did not see my post in that thread so I thought it did not get posted, hence the new thread. When I realized my mistake I tried to delete this one, but couldn't find the option. Also I am not so concerned with hitting my 15 drinks a day limit. Between stocking up on canned soda, water, and my cruise having 4 days at sea I want to keep track of what I have left so I don't get unexpected charges. It is called being frugal, and your reply is called being pompous and condescending. I really hope we are not on the same cruise and I am sure we would be great friends. (and that is called sarcasm)

Rubbery beach shoes are definitely frowned upon.

Does this include Camo Crocs? They are the nicest dress shoes I own. I look awesome when I wear them with my cutoff jean shorts and a stained wife beater. I really hope they will let me and my kinfolk chow down in the MDR. This is my fancy dress.

Farmed salmon (the majority of salmon you eat) is naturally grey in color.  They add stuff to the feed that turns them to the pink salmon color.  It's more expensive to make the salmon darker in color.  It doesn't really effect the taste and is primarily an aesthetic thing.  Most of the really deep orange-pink salmon you eat is also farmed, just given more of the coloring agent.

Yes, you are correct and it does not affect the taste or texture. I would still consider this to be a quality issue as most individuals still expect the salmon to have an orangeish/pink color to it. Appearance accounts for 75 percent of an individual's perception of quality. There is a saying in the restaurant world when it comes to presentation "your eyes eat the food before your mouth ever tastes it"

That is not true. Many fruit juice can be used to marinate and tenderize meat.

Pineapple and Papaya just to name a few. You don't even need to use the juice, the enzyme that does the tenderizing can be bought in powder form (Papain). Add this to any marinade and I promise you it will tenderize the meat. And yes I used to be a Chef.

Looking at the photo of the Salmon, they still have a quality control issue.   It really looks sad!

Back to the topic of this Thread... Why does the salmon appear white? If I received that for my plate I would be sending it back!

  7. Thank you so much for this document and the time it took you to create it. I will be using it for sure on my next cruise. I am still trying to decide if I want to upgrade my Classic Perk to the premium. just knowing some of the Single Malts that Celebrity has I might.

while it is up to $11 for classic package.

Can you tell me the price of a shot of Bailey's without a package? I have a classic for my cruise and it says Bailey's is not included... But if a shot is less than 11 dollars I'll just order a shot on the side.
