Thanks so much for the link. That's exactly what I need to see.

We do a one way car rental from MCO to Port Canaveral with Avis. We have three in our family and it works out super cheap $70 each way with a booster rental. We booked through Costco.
Avis/Budget has a free shuttle from the drop off to the Port.
We did that last year and will Again this year.

Can anyone tell me a little more about the trolley?
I have visited this port decades ago abut this time we will have a 5 year old with us so I don't think she'll be thrilled visiting the Forts. However she'd be all over a trolley ride!!

Trying to decide between the Coral Bay excursion with the Nautilus underwater "sub" or Coral Bay with the Scenic lookout for our upcoming Disney Cruise.
Both have 90 minutes at the Coral Bay facility of free time but wondering how good the submarine ride is versus going up to the look out point.
I will be travelling with my Hubby and our 5 year old daughter.
Feedback???

I'm not a total newbie but it’s been over a decade since I’ve cruised on RC so I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me before we book a last minute cruise on the Liberty?
1. Is there a soda card available to purchase (or just the deluxe drink package) and what would the cost be for the soda card? Further to that, is pop free in the dining rooms (as it was years ago when I sailed RC?)
2. We are booking a last minute cruise four weeks out. Are we going to be able to get tickets to the ice show and or Saturday Night show? I know we can log on as soon as we book but I wasn’t sure how the ticket availability works now and if they “sell out”. It is a “must” to see the ice show for our family.
3. I’m still a bit unclear about dining times on the ship (Liberty). We absolutely cannot have the late dining time as we have a 5 year old and last year on our Disney cruise the late dining was a complete gong show!! It doesn’t seem clear to me on the web site which options are available on the Liberty and I’m wondering we are again going to be stuck with the last minute booking.
4. Are the beaches at Labadee crowded now that they added all the “stuff”. The last time I was there it was strictly a beach and a bbq so I’m wondering if we can enjoy a nice relaxing day on the beach there now? I was not at all impressed with how crowded Castaway Cay was on the Disney cruise and we were even on a small ship!!
Thanks so much for your help!!

We were here last week with our 4 Year old and loved it! The 80 dollar voucher we received for the two adults was sufficient to feed the three of us for lunch plus a few fruity drinks for the adults
Our ship (Disney Magic) arrived around 9 am so we were at the Hilton by 10:30. We stayed until about 4. We didn't book in advance and just walked into the hotel to pay.
It was the most relaxing time I had on the cruise and would totally go back again! All the staff were super friendly and treated my 4 yr old DD (who was the only kid around that day) like a princess

As another suggestion you could do the British Colonial Hilton. It's a short walk from the cruise terminal
We paid 65 each and it included 40 each food and drink voucher. Our 4 Year old was free but the 80 credit was enough to pay for lunch for all three of us and a few adult drinks for us
We enjoyed the beach and spent the other half day at the pool. It was my favourite day on the cruise bc it was not busy at all and we got to enjoy the beach and pool for the while day
They also have beach toys etc for the kids.

We just did a day at the Hilton while on a Disney cruise and it was wonderful! We were there with our 4 year old and spend half the day on the beach and the other half at the pool.
The 80 credit was enough for three lunches and a few alcoholic drinks. We were able to sign over the rest of the credit to the waiter.

We were recently on the 5 day Magic and it was very casual. Lots of the little girls wore their princess dresses to dinners but I don't recall seeing very many people wearing "dress" clothes. My family dressed up for our dinner at Lumieres and I think my hubby was the only one wearing a tie!

We just came back from a cruise on the Magic and we were happy with the price and speed of the internet. There was a special for 1GB of data for $29 and 300 MB of sat was $15.
We used it for uploading photos to Facebook, checking email and following the Olympics. It was a tad slow on the first night but no issues at all after that. I also loved that you can log on with multiple devices on the same plan. We ended up not even using the full 300 Mb and were o it a lot.
We just did the Bahamas itinerary so I'm not sure if that's why the coverage was good since we were so close to the US for the most part.

Transportation and hotels near cruise terminal?!?!
in Disney Cruise Line

Last year we did a one way car rental from MCO to PC and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites dropping the car off the morning of the cruise.
This year we are doing the one way rental but staying in Orlando.
We use Avis/budget and they shuttle you free to the cruise terminal on the morning.
