  1. We will be sailing in two weeks and driving to port. We have never been there, so just wondered what to expect. Thanks!
  2. Thanks! We are driving and spending a few days in NOLA before, so mainly wondered around what time boarding usually started so to know when to get there.
  3. Good info, I will check those places out! Thank you
  4. I dont know where it is. We are a actually doing the Ray's and nurse shark excursion
  5. We will be on the Carnival Glory in Cozumel from 8-5. I assume, docked at Puerta Maya. We have a snorkeling excursion from 9:30 - 12:30. We would like to make the most of our time there and didnt know if we should consider doing something else, or just walk around the port? Rent a taxi to take us somewhere? Where? How much is that usually and how do we make sure we have a ride back? Traveling with our two kids 9 & 12. My husband and I havent cruised in 10 years or so. Any help and advice is appreciated.
  6. So what time does boarding usually begin? What time should we arrive at the port? We purchased FTTF to be able to get in our room quickly because we plan to carry on quite a bit. We would like to be there when boarding is started. We havent cruised in 10 years, and this is our first one with kids in tow. Your help and advice are greatly appreciated!

We will be cruising with our kids, age 12 & 9 for spring break. Looking for a hotel for March 24th to spend the day/evening before our cruise on the 25th. We have never been to New Orleans, and I'm getting overwhelmed with the options. I have been looking on hot wire. I know the main sites we want to see are Jackson square, cafe du monde, st.charles streetcar ride, and visit a cemetary, plus just whatever else we have time for. I would like to stay somewhere that we could walk everywhere, and has that New Orleans old charm about it. Could anyone recommend anywhere? I have considered the Maison Dupy, French Market Inn, and Hotel Provincal. I'm eager to hear other recommendations though. Thanks
