  1. Thank you so much for spending your time with all of us - sailed on Equinox back to back last year in suites and will sail in September unfortunately no suites but C2 so really appreciated your coverage on what is included

Another friend is traveling and she has walking difficulties so spends more time in her cabin - I thought that Celebrity still offers first run movies (not pay per view) in the cabins - have you seen that listed?

So appreciate your thoroughness - Have a wonderful cruise!

  2. I spoke with Captains Club to see about a clarification and it came back with the standard answer - shows there should be a charge but if/when the move up is confirmed then they would try for more information - but when I mentioned it states on the move up that once it is confirmed - no changes or cancellation - would be too late to take that chance. Since the ship is showing totally sold out - think this is as someone else posted on another move up thread - Celebrity is just putting you on a list in case someone cancels and then they know that more revenue is waiting - and when you look at the "strength of the upgrades per the amount" in order to get strong - it is more than it was originally priced - so in reality think it would not become available nor want to take the chance of the hassle of trying to get someone in each night to dine - had also thought just add her to my cabin - pay the taxes which is the only difference - however she would then be double booked since she would keep her cabin as well. Thank you all for your comments and help

  3. Sailing solo C2 - received Move Up offer - friend also in C2 solo - she did not receive offer- I think the chances that it would even open are nill (9/24 Equinox totally sold out) but do have a question - lets say that I do the move up - obviously still paying double the price - would she be able to dine with me in Luminae (I know others have taken friends in for an additional cost) but since in reality already paying for 2 people - do you think they would allow this? I am sure hard to say and once you commit to move up before it is confirmed you cannot change if you are confirmed would be horrible to sail and not be able to use Luminae - thoughts appreciated

  4. Thank you for all your information - not that we spend a lot of time in the cabin but we do enjoy watching the TV or a movie at night after ship entertainment - but are usually disappointed on most ships these days so it appears it will continue. Appreciate all your help!

  5. Appreciate any information on what is usually shown on Television (thinking about Quest - Veranda) - programs, TV movies (complimentary and pay per view) news etc

Thank you for all your help

  6. First St Thomas and Tortola were eliminated (pre hurricane) and we headed south to Curaçao which was added.

Then St. Martin is cancelled and Martinique added as its substitute.

I fully expect Antigua to be cancelled but that is just my opinion as it hasn't happened yet.

Thank you so much for the update - I had seen your revised itinerary on Celebrity website and knew that it had changed before you sailed - but then looking at what the replacements were knew it would change as well.

I had hoped that someone on this sailing would be doing a review as they sailed to update everyone on how you are all doing and if hearing anything of future cruises - but bottom line - whether we sail or not is no longer the priority - the priority is all the people on the islands and Florida and other states that they are okay. Thank you again so appreciate your help

  7. Currently on Equinox. Perhaps you have missed my reports. We will visit Martinique instead of St. Martin. You can expect a similar change of itinerary although perhaps not to that particular alternative port.

Would like to know more about your current sailing as we are to board on 9/15 - where have you been posting and is it possible to update what ports you will be stopping at - knowing of course that they changed your original itinerary but your current one seems doubtful as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer

  8. Thank you - do you remember the distance from the ship to the Terminal - once I did it was relatively close and we walked- another time they had to use a shuttle bus and the worse - the luggage was on the pier outside the ship and no porters and had to take it ourselves to the Terminal and thus why I do not want to repeat that.- but as long as the luggage is in the Terminal that should be so much easier

May I ask how long ago did you do this on Regent? Thank you again for your help

  9. Trying to get additional information on disembarking in Venice - have done it before but not on Regent

Did you walk from the ship to the Terminal - luggage there?

Or was luggage outside the ship and you took it with you to the terminal?

Going to Santa Lucia train station - and have a private car waiting - but now we are thinking if we have to

hassle the luggage (we do not want to walk People Mover etc) then maybe the private water taxi better idea?

If anyone has done the disembarkation - your insight and help would be appreciated - Thank you

  10. Sailing in 3 weeks - Diamond Plus but not holding out any hope of an upgrade but would definitely like to upgrade however the higher suites (currently D1) are huge increase

Does anyone know if there is a department that I could contact to see if an upsell would be available? Thank you for your help!

  11. The one and only (and last) time we had a connecting cabin, we had booked

too late to get much of a choice. We settled for a connecting cabin. Won't

happen again. Not that our situation would happen again on another cruise

or ship...but that was enough for me.

Family with 2-3 teenagers next to us. Could hear them all the time through

that door. Of course lost our couch to a chair to make room for the door.

But the worst was the darn kids kept trying to open that door. I finally yelled

through the door to cut it out. "Not letting you in!!". That stopped them for the

    rest of the cruise. ;)

Is there a way you know which cabin has the sofa or the chair? We are on Radiance - category D2 (#9244that connects with D1 - #9242

Thank you for your help - Happy Holidays

  12. Thank you for the help -

Knowing where the door connects was just something I was wondering - same as when others want to know the position of the bed (by the balcony or bathroom) just of interest

Do not need compasses - was just trying to get an idea of the show times - last year on the Serenade they did a lot of early shows 7PM for late seating and the 9PM for early and the big production nights were 830 and 1030 - always helps to have some ideas when choosing My Time dining times

Thank you again for all your responses

  13. Thank you for the additional information - so if I am to clearly have this in my brain - Radiance of the Seas February 9, 2017 - we will check in at White Bay Terminal but then will be put on a ??? Tender (ship type) or Ferry (bigger) to get to the ship ? Then we have to go up those stairs (as is the case when you tender somewhere else) - but we all have carry on luggage? Oh my - this is not sounding good.

We were on Solstice before (2013) (bigger ship than Radiance) so they must have changed where ships can dock.

In reality traveling with someone with mobility issues and a walker this could really be a challenge. If anyone has more information - please forward - think it better that we know everything sooner and get prepared.

Appreciate all your time - I had been so hopeful last night - Once we are on the ship - it will be great hopefully - Thank you again
