Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. And another way to look at it is not to recognize there’s a big difference in requiring formal attire for a land based attraction likely to be frequented by locals vs a ship based attraction likely to be filled with people who have to fly and therefore deal with luggage requirements.
  2. I've been in the thermal suites for MSC Seaside, Meraviglia, and Seascape. Seascape was most recently (Jan 2023). Here were my notes: Thermal suite is very similar to those on Seaside and Meraviglia. I would give the nod to Meraviglia as it has more comfortable loungers in the relaxation area and in the salt room. Seascape has snow room, bright light and dark sensory wet saunas, soft sauna and Finnish dry saunas, 3 heated tile loungers, cold showers (2 lemon, 1 mint, and 2 pine scents), warm shower (2 orange scent), one walkthrough cold to warm shower, and a thalassotherapy pool. From the videos I've seen so far for Sun's Enclave it looks like there are more heated tile loungers (eight), but the salt room has bench style seating as opposed to loungers like MSC has. Both have a thalassotherapy pool, dry sauna, and sensory showers. I only saw one wet sauna in the Sun video. Don't think I saw a snow room.
  3. Just watched the webinar and was stunned to see that they picked my question about Xcel improvements based on Edge class feedback!
  4. On our 2/25 cruise: Icons was offered on Day 2 7:30pm and Day 3 9:30pm. Beetlejuice was offered on Day 5 7:00pm & 10:00pm and Day 6 7:00pm & 10:00pm. Reservations were required and enforced. Prom was offered on Day 7 9:30pm.
  5. So disappointing to hear that news about the pasta. ☹️
  6. Yep I’m sure I’ll find some new favs but still gutted!
  7. Oh yeah I’m still here 😉 Just got back from our Viva cruise and used the NCL CruiseNext program to book our 1st 2026 cruise!
  8. NOOOO the veal pasta pockets aren’t on the menu! My fav item at Alfredo’s on the other ships.
  9. I think other changes must have been made in the bathrooms. I had previously seen criticism of lack of hooks and shelves/storage space on Prima. But in ship tours I've watched of Viva, those deficiencies seem to have been addressed.
  10. I've seen two countdown clocks on the website regarding this sale - one says it ends in 30h 31m and another that says it ends in 6h 31m. I'm specifically interested in the Crown & Anchor dining discounts.
  11. I was unclear about what "impromptu bistro" actually meant. I wondered if that meant a pop-up experience within Crown Grill - say on certain nights. Seatrade Cruise News saw my question on social media and responded to me: "We checked with Princess Cruises. No, this won't be located within Crown Grill. It has its own spot on Deck 9, they said". When I look at the deck plan on Princess' website, there is an area off the Piazza noted as 'Coming Soon'. Perhaps that is the location?
  12. I find this press release date a bit strange - these cruises have been on sale for a month now.
  13. Weird - I even tried downloading the benefits brochure in a different browser in case I was getting some old cache and the version 8 dated 8/30/23 shows what you image snipped above. Not the Craft Social addition and theater removal.
  14. Where did you find this? I checked the link in the first post of this thread as well as the View Benefits button on the CC page on Celebrity website. Both still showed the same non-updated exclusion note.
