  1. We just did a cruise with a lot of tender ports and the center seats - the ones that are on the same level as the door - were filled with people who had limited mobility, and a stack of walkers and wheelchairs. At some stops, it was quite interesting to see the crew help them on and off, but they are very good at it.
  2. Thank you, that was my question. The original article I read says they were left with no documents, no money, no medications, nothing from their cabins.
  3. We are sailing next September and the price is $65. Nope.
  4. STILL THERE. This does not speak well of their IT department, at all. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises/itinerary/7-night-western-caribbean-holiday-from-tampa-on-enchantment/EN07TPA-511770072?sail-date=2024-10-05&currency=USD&country=USA#step=0
  5. It's STILL on their site! Starting at $577, quite the bargain. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises/itinerary/7-night-western-caribbean-holiday-from-tampa-on-enchantment/EN07TPA-511770072?sail-date=2024-10-05&currency=USD&country=USA#step=0
  6. How much is the ferry, how much is the bus? They take credit cards I hope?
  7. My daughter's first cruise was when she was 13, back in the days of dressing for dinner and assigned tables for all three meals. She doesn't like 'weird' stuff, so the first night she asked for a kid's menu. Bless his heart, the waiter brought her a kid's menu and some crayons. She ordered from the adult menu and tried something new every night. 🙂
  8. How was the price? I have heard it has increased significantly.
  9. We arrived right after the new president was inaugurated, and people were a bit nervous. From the time between Puerto Madryn and Ushuaia, the rate changed dramatically. 😞
  10. Wow. The official rate mid-December was 347 peso to the dollar, and the blue rate was between 800 and 1000, depending on where you went.
  11. People who want to bring their pets don't need invitations, they simply falsify documents. 🙂 This will encourage them, I think.
  12. If we do specialty dining, we do the cheaper lunch option on a sea day.
  13. It worked fine, but took quite a long time to load the pages. I'm glad they have fixed it!
  14. Thank you. So for check-in, which I have already done, that works. For any other option, like short excursions of checking my flights, it simply goes to a white screen and dies. 🙂 I hope they get it fixed soon.
  15. Hovered, clicked check-in, - no bookings found. Manage my flights - no bookings found. 😞
  16. I just closed the window, typed in the website, clicked Manage My Cruise and still get 'no bookings found'.
  17. Try the Navigator app, since mine still seems to be working.
  18. I hope the HAL website gets fixed soon. We found your account, but didn't see any related booking numbers. It can take up to 24 hours for a booked cruise to appear in your account.
  19. Our last cruise they provided basic masks, not KN95. Check the pockets of your jackets, they're still in there from last year. 🙂
  20. The ones I have been on, we all were led off to the terminal. Got checked in, which included a skip the line pass if we decided to go back to town, and could get back on the ship. We switched rooms, but we sat talking to people who were staying in the same cabin who also hung out in the lounge with us.
  21. After you go to the terminal to get checked in for you new cruise, you can choose to go back on board but you have to stay in public areas, and there will be no services available until they start letting passengers on, ~10:30 or 11. Bring a book, find a comfy chair in a lounge.
