On a recent cruise in the US, they had a buy 3, get one free deal and they were $55 a carton. I do not know if that price is the same world wide. I don't know if they sell them by the pack. I only saw cartons but I am not a smoker and just saw the deal on a large sign in the shop.

This is in essence what I did. Although I didn't need the extra deposit since they were doing $50 deposits already. I just reduced the balance due at final payment date. They have my $900 already and I am going on another cruise later this month and can buy more FCD's with a later "expiration date". I figured, why not?

That makes sense. I think that is what I show. We do another cruise in a month. I will buy more then.

I booked a cruise yesterday for a party of 3 and we all had 3 FCD's waiting to be used. I was under the impression that you could only use 1 FCD per booking or 1 per person if you wanted. The HAL agent saw we had 9 total among the three in our party and applied them all. We have a few cruises booked in the not so distant future so I can replenish our supply of FCD's if I want so I agreed to using the money I had already spent to pay down the balance remaining on the booking by applying all 9. The only weird thing other than being able to do this at all, is that is doesn't look like we got the OBC that usually comes with the use of a FCD. Has anyone done this before and is it normal not to get all of the OBC for the 9 FCD's used? Or do I need to call back and request it?

We were in the Tamarind bar on the Kdam last week and a couple at the bar next to us did order sushi.

I don't know if the actual table service is any better but there is a separate check-in line. So any wait for a table should be much shorter.

It is there but only on Thanksgiving. I saw it listed yesterday.

There should be a Club Orange line separate from the other line that you can use to avoid a long wait if it is busy.

I guess I need to find another TA.

Does HAL contact you directly with an upgrade offer? Is that true if you use a TA as well? Or would it have to go to the TA and the TA contact you? We have never been offered one. We book directly with HAL but usually transfer our booking to a "big box" TA.

The main dining room usually serves a special meal on NYE and has been a "fancy" night so we prefer to dine there saving the specialty restaurants for normal nights.

This is what was posted on a FB HAL related forum: GREAT NEWS! Due to guest and staff feedback, HAL has decided to rescind this new policy and the Neptune Lounge Honor Bar WILL be included in the Signature Beverage Package. Thanks HAL for listening to your guests!

I can't confirm it but it was posted on another forum that HAL has just rescinded that policy and the honor drinks in the NL are once again included in the drink package.
