  1. I want to use the VIFP Gold badge that's on the offer page for my profile picture, however, my browser is not allowing me open the image as a link to save it. Can a Gold member visit the offers page https://www.carnival.com/cruise-deals and see if it allows to copy image link for me? Thank you in advance!
  2. Thanks, I only sail on Royal Caribbean. But I have a chance to do a sailing for Christmas. Just came off Wonder of the Seas, and I only have done Oasis class ships. I am not looking for a ship that is tailored for children. I know Celebrity is geared towards 50+. Was just curious if there was an additional pool or not so I know what to expect in that regard. Least now I know there's just one main pool only. Thank you again!
  3. Looking through videos I was only able to spot one pool on the Apex. I have a 3 and 6 year old by the time we sail in December for the holidays. Curious if there's a separate smaller pool just for kids. If so does anyone have photos or a video I could see? Thanks in advance!
  4. There's an event typically on Royal Caribbean where you dress up in all white at night. Does Wonder of the Seas have this event or did they switch to a different color?
  5. I know there are packages, but if you're not interested in doing the water activities and simply want to enjoy the beach and sand only, is there a fee to enter? I would assume perhaps you just have to purchase a meal? As otherwise it looks like the cheapest pricing is $40 pp for all ages just to walk in the beach if there are requirements.
  6. That could've been what they meant. I just rewatched, complimentary for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then it's followed up with dinner is an extra charge. Here's a link that goes direct to where he mentions it. So to be clear, it is still free for dinner?
  7. I just saw a video of Wonder of the Seas, is it true that Solarium Bistro is now charging for dinner? Pre-Covid I went on Symphony and Oasis, and neither charged for Solarium for dinner.
  8. Sailing is in first week of June, and I just realized my daughters passport expired. What should I bring in place of her expired passport so that she can get off and on the ports (Bahamas, Cozumel, Roatan and Costa Maya) with no issue? She has a learner's permit, birth certificate, and of course the expired passport.
  9. Considering switching group from OV Balconies to OV on Deck 3 (midship). Anyone here can report back their experience on Deck 3 with the motion? I've never stayed in OV. All of my sailings have been midship balconies with the exception of a Boardwalk at the back of the ship. The only time I've felt any sort of motion was at the back of the ship while sleeping, but not enough to say someone else might get motion sickness. There's two people in our group who does get motion sickness. Some of the medicine doesn't work for one of them. So curious if Deck 3 which is all midship OV would be recommended for them. As I would think any room that's midship no matter the level would have minimum motion.
  10. Yeah, there's OV on Deck 3. I was just curious if all OVs are located at the front or back of ship only vs. center of the deck. I've never personally been inside an OV. My wife said the one time she did one with her family she felt sick. But I am asking for a few other people who will be sailing, two of them do not like the motion, one in particular will get sick. But if the OV is in the middle of whatever of floor then I would assume they won't feel anything. Because even with a balcony on the back/front of ship you will feel a bit of motion (least I did last time).
  11. Is there a floorplan for all of the oceanview rooms? I always assumed oceanview will be in the front or back of the ship only. But now that I look at Icon of the Seas, they have a bunch that's mid-ship. Of course that ship is designed a bit different. As front/back there will be a good amount of motion with oceanview. As one person in particular gets motion sickness.
  12. I've never done a oceanview or interior. What are the best decks + locations for Oasis class to not feel the movement of the ship/waves? I've only done balconies on Oasis, decks 6-12. Only once I have felt the motion of the boat and that's when I did Boardwalk which was located at the back of the ship, and I said never again lol. P.S. This question is for a family member btw who are cruising for the first time and doesn't like motion at all. I am just presenting them all options for each cabin.
  13. I personally book my shows while on the ship. Never had an issue getting the times I wanted + I like to plan my shows around the activities and they don't release their activity list prior. Or at least I don't know how to access the daily activities for the ship prior.
  14. Let's say I booked an interior room for a June 2023 booking. But in November, I decided I wanted an interior or balcony just due to pricing I've seen. Will there system allow me to do an upgrade and pay the difference or is there a fee associated with changing cabins for the same boat/date?
  15. I read a review that stated they do not do the belly flop contest on the ship. Is this true? I always enjoyed watching that. Review was from 4 months ago.
  16. If you haven't booked yet I would say go with the one that has the best pricing for you. They'll have equal amount of fun on both. I did my first cruise at that age and it was a cheap, basic Carnival boat 15+ years ago and I had a good time with my brother. Fun is what you make of it. The ship is not going to make anything fun for someone at that age. Being boys they should have no problem enjoying themselves even on the smallest of boats, let alone a Royal ship.
  17. When you do sail, let us know if they had it and if it was the same crowd attendance Pre-Covid. I agree, with it being busy downstairs it was pretty good just to see people having fun. We never intentionally went to it (never saw it on schedule), but always just happen to walk into it towards the end and it was always a good time.
  18. I agree, Dazzles was great. We didn't get a chance to do it when we did Symphony (2019) because we caught the norovirus, but the time before when we sailed on Oasis (2017) it was great. We are doing Wonder next year so I hope the Music Hall does similar music. We are in our 30s, and for me that was the spot.
  19. We are not sailing on this ship until next year, but we sailed on Symphony of the Seas with a 18 month old and she loved it. Riding the carousel a thousand times, the splash pad, and in general just walking the hallways. At that age little ones can have fun doing anything. I'm sure he will be plenty entertained I assure you on any Oasis class ships. They've built this ship so that it's pretty impossible for any age to be bored. It should be the most fun he's ever had at that age.
  20. If I booked a cruise today on the official website, and then 14 days later PriceLine, Direct Line Cruises, Cruises, American Discount, CruisesOnly, etc has a cheaper price for the same room type, will Royal price match it or does that cheaper price have to appear on the official website for them to do price adjustment?
  21. I know in the past you used to get points if someone signed up for the rewards and sailed with Royal for the first time. You would need their full name and reservation number to claim the point. As I have several people joining us next year that are new to Royal, so I would like to gain points if it is possible still.
  22. Planning on cruising next year, it's going to be a large group. I am wondering how many people do you need to receive a group discount and is that discount even significant to do? We don't have interest in having all of our rooms next to each other, the main thing is it worth even combining everyone if a discount is significant. If it's $100 off, then that's not a major deal.
