For anyone interested, I emailed the tour company and here is their response.
Thank you so much for reaching out to us and for thinking of us! However, in regard to your question about riding on the sled for the dog demonstration, the guests do NOT get to actually ride on the sled. There is just a demonstration by one of our Iditarod mushers on a gravel track that we have located on-site. We have structured our dog demonstration this way so that it is more accessible to everyone also groups/families. If you look you will see that the tours where you actually get to ride the dog sleds are much more expensive. However, no worries as the guests do get the same kind of interaction with the dogs & of course our puppies as you would with the other tours just without the ride. Hope this helps!
