Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I never had issues with wifi calling on Princess or RC. Super annoying that Carnival blocks it.
  2. I guess we will find out once we board the Jubilee later this year.
  3. Any idea if an RU4 Cheers to You will work similarly out of Galveston? Or would we need to wait for Day 2 at 6am for it to be activated?
  4. The best prices I have seen are during Black Friday sales. Since RC had a Black Friday month sale (or at least this is what they did in 2023), hoping the prices decrease right before our cruise on the 15th.
  5. Utopia of Seas 11/15/24 Sailing $79.99 Deluxe Beverage Pkg $27.99 Refreshment Pkg $8.99 Soda Pkg Ehhh. Not really a deal.
  6. Here is a link for Carnival's kids menu for their MDR, Steakhouse and Chibang.
  7. I can't believe all 3 Vista Class ships have had the same issue multiple times. They had years and have not found a permanent fix to this problem.
  8. $170? LOL. It is currently going for $246 per person for my cruise in 2 weeks. Totally not worth it.
  9. I will be on Harmony on 4/1, below is the schedule: Day 1 - Miami: 1887: A Journey in Time (Studio B): 7pm/9pm Adult Comedy Show (Attic Comedy Club): 8pm/10pm The Fine Line (AquaTheater): 8:15pm/10:15pm Day 2 - Sea Day: Grease (Royal Theater): 10:15pm Adult Comedy Show (Attic Comedy Club): 7:30pm/9:30pm/11:30pm The Fine Line (AquaTheater): 8:15pm/10:15pm Day 3 - Sea Day: Grease (Royal Theater): 3:30pm/8pm 1887: A Journey in Time (Studio B): 7pm/9pm Day 4 - St. Maaten: 1887: A Journey in Time (Studio B): 9:00pm Adult Comedy Show (Attic Comedy Club): 8pm/10pm The Fine Line (AquaTheater): 8:15pm/10:15pm Day 5 - St. Thomas: Adult Comedy Show (Attic Comedy Club): 7:30pm/9:30pm/11:30pm Love & Marriage Game Show (Royal Theater - No Reservations FCFS): 10:30pm Day 6 - Sea Day: Columbus, The Musical (Royal Theater): 8pm/10pm Adult Comedy Show (Attic Comedy Club): 8pm/10pm iSkate Showcase (Studio B - No Reservations FCFS): 9pm Day 7 - Perfect Day at CocoCay: Columbus, The Musical (Royal Theater): 7:00pm iSkate Showcase (Studio B - No Reservations FCFS): 8pm/9:30pm
  10. Thanking for asking these questions as I am new to RC and am trying to figure it all out as well. l will be on the same ship and dates as you on HoS. I have a teen son also (17 year-old) that I will be taking onto the cruise.
  11. Thanks everyone. Looks like a lot of standing in line and waiting will be part of our cruise. Bummer.
  12. Thank you, that was what I figured. Hopefully the wait isn't too long each night.
  13. This will be my first cruise on Royal Caribbean (I have done Carnival and Princess before), so I am trying to understand how the Main Dining Room operates. My family and I will be on Harmony of the Seas in April and we chose My Time Dining because 5pm for early seating is way too early and 8pm for late seating is way too late for us. Below are the listed times for dinner in the RC app: MDR Deck 3 Dinner 6:30pm-9pm MDR Deck 4 Early 5pm-5:15pm Late 7:45pm-8pm MDR Deck 5 Dinner 8:30pm-9pm When I try and make reservations for MTD, the earliest time available is 7:15pm everyday on MDR Deck 3. I ended up booking it everyday, as I did not want to not book it and end up with only later times as I wait to see if anything else pops up. However, is there a way to check if earlier times becomes available without cancelling your current reservation? I don't want to lose my current reservation if nothing earlier is available. In addition, is the MDR Deck 5 really only available from 8:30pm-9pm? Is that utilized for MTD also? It is spring break, so I am confused why all the dining rooms are not being utilized for the full dinner hours, or is it? Lastly, if no earlier reservations pop-up, should I just go and wait at 6:15pm and hope to get seated at MDR Deck 3 when it opens up if I want an earlier time to eat? Not sure what is the best solution for my family when we tend to eat between 6pm/6:30pm.
  14. It is just how Royal Caribbean does their "dynamic pricing" strategy. Offers are different for each cruise ship and date. So someone on Allure of the Seas will pay $65.99 one week, and the person on the following week for the same ship might pay $75.99. Only keep track of the per person per day cost. Do not bother with their percent discount as its all marketing.
