  1. Thanks! Very helpful. We are going on the Escape a week from tomorrow, which is spring break for many northeastern schools.
  2. First time cruisers. Do we need to make a beeline for Splash Academy as soon as we board? I've heard Splash Academy quickly reaches its maximum capacity, which means your kid could be locked out for the entire voyage. Is that true? Thanks!
  3. I should have done that, for sure! Now I think I know what I need. Thanks.
  4. Thanks! The research I did on the in-room coffee machines in my aft balcony room (*not* Haven) suggested that I could use Senseo pods. Don't know if my research is correct though!
  5. Family of 3. Going on NCL Escape from NYC on March 24. We have not bought any drinks packages and wonder if we will regret that decision. But here’s the thing: none of us drink soda; we the adults barely drink any alcohol; and our daughter drinks just water and occasionally cranberry juice or lemonade when we eat out. My husband is the same as her: the occasional juice, but mostly water. I drink coffee and am pretty picky. Planning to bring my own coffee for the room and Starbucks French Roast VIA for dining rooms. I’m fine with that. My question is: Will my husband and daughter be able to order a juice 2-3x a day without being charged extra every time? If not, how much will that cost us every day? Alternately: If we buy them the SODA package, can juice be swapped in instead? (I wish there were a juice package!) Any advice would be appreciated!
