Blackduck59, I have another question. We were on an NCL ship that docked at Victoria for the day and to my amazement, the streets that we walked on were lined with cherry blossoms that I could not believe. Which of these places in Vancouver be the best place to see cherry blossoms in April: Stanley Park or Queen Elizabeth Park? Thank you.

Thank you. I was hoping for the inland passage until I saw the day by day itinerary with sea day.

Please, can someone help me? On the itinerary map, it shows we are going through the inside passage from Seattle however when I look at the day by day itinerary, it says Day At Sea for the 2nd day so does it mean that we will be on the Pacific Ocean to Ketchikan?

I am not on your cruise but was on the Westerdam 2 weeks before your departure. Our friend works on the ship so am happy to read your report and thank you plus I look on the Marine traffic site to see where your ship is. Your educational lectures you posted are very interesting compared to Diamond Princess when we cruised with her 3 times before the pandemic in Japan, Westerdam is hands up. I love HAL educational programs. Thanks.

I'm very glad you found it since I couldn't remember exactly all we had in May on the Westerdam except for the Alaskan Berry Breakfast Smoothie which was very delicious. We enjoyed that cruise very much that we are returning to the Westerdam. Our Naturalist was Nan Tan, a very outstanding interesting person who gave lectures on Alaska's nature. Also enjoyed joining her on the aft promenade for whale watching. I hope she will be there again when we are on board but I am sure who ever is the naturalist will be outstanding like her. She is from Vancouver and is a college professor.

It is the same with the Oct. 2 New Amsterdam from Vancouver to San Diego which we were going to book today. Hope it is not sold out.
