  2. Hey fishywood, thank you for the prompt response. My reasons for choosing Cunard are as follows, 1. Round trip from Vancouver. 2. Reputable cruise line, not to say other cruise companies are bad. 3. Itinerary fits my liking visiting Kodiac and Anchorage 4. Never cruised with Cunard before. 5. Cunard established by a Canadian, Samuel Cunard,,,,,,giggles here.
  3. I just recently booked a 12 Alaska Cruise with Cunard. Since then I have people inform me that I should have booked with Holland America, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean or Norwegian. What's your thoughts about Alaska cruise with Cunard? Did I make the right choice with Cunard? Thank you for your comments. Harley

  10. But I would like to hear it from a traveller who actually experienced the cruise. Most of these subjects on cruise critic can be answered by a travel agent and most travel agents never travelled from North America to Australia/New Zealand. I want to hear it from the horses mouth if you know what I mean there mommy.

  12. You can take the QE from Southhampton to New York and then drive to Newfoundland and Labrador, no flying involved.
  13. I found MSC an excellent cruise line.
  14. The first is antihistamines, both prescription and over-the-counter. These are the most commonly used medications for motion sickness, and they're available in any drug store and in many supermarkets. Cyclizine (Marezine) and dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) are two major ones. After spending 27 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, the best medication to take is NOTHING, just let nature take its course.
  15. If you want to see whales come to Newfoundland and Labrador.
  16. Thank you for the prompt response. It is nice to know that there will not be much foot traffic while at sea. Is there any obstruction at all from cabin 6001 or 6002. Kindest regards.
  17. Is the balcony assessable to the general public or only for the occupants of cabins 6001 and 6002. Thank you
