Thanks for this thread. I just booked a cruise on the Infinity for Nov this year. The price seems really good, but that makes me a little worried ("you get what you pay for"?). I saw the recent reviews of the Infinity on cc but went for it anyway. I can get a refund on my deposit until tomorrow, but I feel somewhat reassured by this thread. I've only been on 2 HAL cruises previously (Rotterdam last year and Zuiderdam pre-pandemic), and enjoyed them both. I noticed there were fewer good quality activities on the 2nd one, but still ok. Can anyone comment on the quality of food and activities on Infinity specifically, or Celebrity overall, especially compared to HAL?

I'm jealous! My Mariner deals aren't really much, but I did notice a small difference. I looked at rates without logging in, then logged in and saw they were about $100-200 less. I'm just at 1 star.

I have a question for people who have cruised on HAL recently. I read somewhere that if one person on a shore excursion tests positive for covid, everyone in the group would be required to quarantine regardless of whether they test negative or have no symptoms. I looked online and found nothing about that on the FAQ. When I called HAL to ask, the person said that as long as you test negative and have no symptoms you wouldn't need to quarantine. Can anyone confirm? Also, could anyone tell me where the medical area on the Rotterdam is located? It isn't on the deck plan and the person on the phone didn't know (which made me less confident about her answer to my quarantine question). I hope my room isn't too close to it.
