What is the general consensus on currency for the Caribbean, in particular Dom Rep, Bahamas and Turks & Caicos? As non US citizens we will of course be purchasing US Dollars for our week before the cruise but wanting to know if US Dollars will be accepted in the Caribbean? We did a UK based company cruise a few years ago to India and Asia and the majority of people on the cruise were just using dollars so hopefully the Caribbean will be similar and we wont have to get individual currency for ports. What happens if next day you notice that out of the 20 drinks both me & the hubby consumed the day before, 17 have been allocated to his medallion and only 3 to mine? Are you able to go to Guest Services and get the drinks reallocated?

Thanks Guys. I went to the flight section as illustrated above and it does not give me the option for transfers, only flights 🤷‍♀️ Looks like I'm going to have to wait until I'm onboard.

Hi guys, I'm due to travel at the end of April so our cruise has been paid in full. Am I able to add on / book transfers after disembarkation? I've had a look on both the web version and the app but can't see the option. Thanks Lx

Hi guys We have a cruise leaving from PE at the end of April. We are staying in LBTS for the 4 night before the cruise and planned to Uber from there to the port on the Saturday morning. We are now considering maybe hiring a car for the 4 night duration and I believe it is possible to drop the car off on the morning of the cruise and get a (free?) shuttle to the port. If this is an option are you able to advise of any companies that offer this? Thanks L&Dx

Hi guys Got a cruise booked leaving from Port Everglades next April. We actually arrive 6 days before the cruise into Miami and plan on spending a couple of nights in Miami first of all then heading up to the Port Everglades area for 4 nights probably with Brightline. Rather than staying in Fort Lauderdale we were thinking of staying in LBTS as a small beach town feel appeals to us as we will not have a car to get about. Just looking for some clarification that LBTS would be suitable for a pre-cruise stay and easy enough to Uber to the port on the Saturday morning? Many thanks L&D

Yeah Paulatsea, I did think that but just wanted to double check. My insurance has been purchased direct with Marella Cruises. So Jack 10952, you didn't get a separate insurance policy, just the "Axa Travel Insurance Policy wording" PDF & "Axa Travel Insurance Product Information Document" PDF? I used to work for Tui many moons ago and was sure you actually got a policy, not just the wording & information documents so was just wanting to double check. Thanks guys

Hi guys, I have purchased my insurance with Marella for my upcoming cruise. When I received my cruise confirmation, there were three attachments, two of which just appear to be the wording of the insurance policy etc, but I can't see anything relating to the policy. The only other enclosure was an "Atol Certificate", is this the insurance policy? Thanks Lx
