  1. I’d love to know why it’s your favourite. We’ve sailed on Sapphire and Grand, and love them both. But an itinerary we like is coming up on Coral. We like to get where we want without crowding or lineups, and the wide open feel of the two ships we’ve sailed. What do you like about the Coral?
  2. Our inside cabin last month did not have them. Mum was in the room beside us and hers did, so not all rooms done!
  3. Sorry I can’t recall whether the table # was 145 or 245. Against the wall, yes and tucked into a corner for privacy. To the immediate left upon entering,
  4. I was on the same voyage as OP and found the food was great. We ate in Savoy nightly. My wife wasn’t thrilled with the lasagne (said it was tasteless) but everything I had was just great, and a few items were downright excellent! (Braised beef short ribs, baked salmon) We had intended to get to the steakhouse but never made it…we might have also tried Sabatini’s but folks we met were underwhelmed so we stuck with Savoy. On the first night (with no reservations) we had luck to be seated in Ahmed’s section, and enjoyed his attentive and humorous service so much that we asked for his section the next night, By night 3 “our” table was saved for us for the rest of the 14 nights. My only wish is that they’d have a 14-day menu, instead of repeating the 7-day menu exactly.
  5. Haha well if we’re talking about my 1980’s body, maybe!
  6. Thanks for your comments, really helped,
  7. I know that “proper” attire is a bathing suit. But does anyone know….would we be turned away if we wanted to use the thermal spa wearing shorts and tank top? There is a distinct lack of affordable bathing suits available for plus-sized gals, and yes I’ve looked online. The heated tile lounge beds are a great memory of a past Sapphire trip, I’m wanting to book the thermal for our upcoming trip. Bathing suit, that I’ll literally never wear again, will literally cost more than the entire week of the spa! Thanks if anyone knows for sure!
  8. Sorry if this is a dumb question….but as the medallion unlocks your cabin door when you approach, wouldn’t leaving it hanging near the door also unlock it? Or is there an additional manual lock inside the door?
