  1. If they have apologised to them then thats an admission of some guilt right? Or at least acceptance that they handled it very badly. And you have to assume now that ALL vloggers will be restricted from videoing, unless it actually was personal. And maybe even regular passengers restricted from videoing?
  2. I think thats a very reasonable response. Although politicians do this a lot when they mess up. But you have to take them at their word and thats fair enough.
  3. I can't believe for a second that any cruise line would allow smoking inside any more. Are some of them still in the 1970s?
  4. Although I have to admit to spitting out my dirty martini, in utter disgust. Can't be doing with salty drinks. Lol
  5. Why would you think we weren't? My last cruise I nearly drowned in martini.
  6. Their review was incredibly positive too. That was the bizarre thing I say pool the same way.
  7. OK. This is more like a discussion post and can accept your points. I can only think you are referring to P&O here though, but I haven't been on one of their cruises. I am not convinced the reviews i have watched are those sorts of people though. Ben and David definitely aren't. They rarely drink. Unlike me who tries to drink the martini bar dry.
  8. They are from my part of the world. I like their reviews. They attach a lot humour to what they do unlike many of the staid humourless reviewers. And being north east englanders is always a plus. 😉 Even if the MSC massive try a pile on. 🤪
  9. Any bad publicity is bad. For an business. You think they don't read the things we do? Although many reviewers do say their customvler service department is appalling. So maybe not.
  10. Just watched another reviewer review an MSC cruise, Ritzy travel guide. He also wasn't exactly complimentary about them. To the point of ridicule regarding some of the behaviours of some passengers. Overcrowded ships that looks like the Blackpool of the cruise market.
  11. I guess you havent watched the whole video. They are more or less told what to say.
  12. They did 4 videos of celebrity beyond, and were overwhelmingly positive. Infact they were preparing to book another cruise. And only those not in same sex relationships would try and claim discrimination wasn't there. Frankly none of us know how same sex couples feel about discrimination because we don't suffer it.
  13. Nobody should kid themselves here. MSC whilst doing this also invited them on another cruise as long as they did a positive review. Hypocrites.
  14. Well I think they are superb and were doing a very positive review. MSC scored a ridiculous own goal. Especially when you consider the vast amount of.negative reviews of MSC. Another to add to the avoid list of cruise lines. How to damage your own brand in one easy lesson
  15. But are we talking laws, or rules? Some rules are too stupid to follow. As are some laws funnily enough.
  16. Alternatively there are many people who dont know every rule, and see some insignificant behaviour as normal. and so are not following suit, like a lemming, just behaving in a way they always have. Like at work, I see processes and procedures as a guide, not a rule book. (Not talking health and safety here for the pedants) Processess and procedures if followed to the letter, make any chance of lateral thinking impossible. Are these the sort of rules you are talking about?
  17. Nobody calls me a passenger. I am a V.I.P. PS. I only posted the above from another thread. Wasnt being serious.
  18. This. Some must go on cruises not to enjoy a holiday, but to police their fellow cruisers (not passengers as we are not on a ferry). Imagine that being your reason for being.
  19. those are so much better than the real ones.
  20. Not wishing to be a pedant(again) but, when it comes to cruising are we actually passengers? We would be on a bus going from A to B, or a taxi or a Ferry, but not on a cruise, surely? The word passenger isnt special enough.😁
  21. I actually didnt know. But was too scared to ask. So at least the OP has educated me.
  22. Sorry if I am misunderstanding here but are you saying you can he forced to do jury service and it may and probably will cost you money, or at least your vacation time? How can that be? How can doing your "civic duty" as some on here claim, actually put you out of pocket, or vacation time? And surely most people have a career, and how will that remain if you are on a very long case? Apologies I have misunderstood here.
