Many thanks and apologies. My old tired eyes read that you were referring to HAL. Which you clearly were not. Shame on me for not reading your post accurately and more thoroughly that I did. We status matched with MSC (elite to diamond) some time back. The process was seamless. And we have enjoyed diamond benefits on several cruises.

The cruise lines are missing an opportunity.

We keep a few handy and don’t hide them. These we give (with parent’s permission) directly to the young kids we see on board. This always elicits a big smile. From both child and parent.😃😃

DSC becomes mandatory when and only when it is invisibly incorporated into the basic cruise fare.

We schedule regular daily duck hunting expeditions. Even found some on MSC last month. We’ve found Princess, however, to make for better hunting. We typically rehide them. From time to time though we will keep an especially cute one.
