Hello. I have been following along. Wondering how long the wait was to get on the water shuttle to and from? We also have a private excursion booked in Belize and we are supposed to meet one hour after ship docks. Also, did they use the life boats? I see from your pictures, you did not get on a life boat. Thank you for all the info you have given. 🙂

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here knows of a FB group for vegan food for Princess cruises. I thought I saw someone mention it in the regular group and even when someone asked that person the name of the group, that person didn't respond. I tried searching and googling and I can't find anything. Thank you in advance.

With what I have been reading, it seems this is the new way and there won't be all the options like before. I did enjoy having plenty of options and I don't mind ordering the night before but it seems they are doing away with this. You get choices from the one vegan menu each night. Can anyone verify this? If not, I will find out in a few weeks. LOL.

Thank you. Looking at google maps, it looks like a nice beach area. That is what I meant by good beach. There doesn't seem to be a lot of complaints about seaweed. I just want a decent bathroom with toilets, sink and handsoap. LOL. I am not interested in outhouses. Thanks for your reply. 🙂 I will give it a try.

Hello tallyho8! The day we will be in Costa Maya, there will be three ships (November). They are not massive ships with lots of passengers. (Ours 3560, small 708 and another 2860) We arrive at 0800 with the ship that holds 708. The other ship gets there at 1000. We haven't got off the ship in Costa Maya before. I want to try Krazy Lobster. You think getting off at 0830-0900 and going straight there, we should be able to get good loungers? Also, they don't cost but you just buy some food/drinks? I looked at their website and it doesn't show much about a minimum purchase. We are not heavy drinkers/eaters and don't want an all-inclusive. I just want to be on a nice beach that has decent drinks/food and a nice bathroom. Maybe hang out for 5 hours or so. Any tips would be helpful. Thank you.

Hello. Is the title of the excursion Snorkeling Wonders Of The Barrier Reef?

Just did the Panama Canal cruise in August. Nothing was required but the normal passport. 🙂

We have actually said something before we sit down. What we have done on the last three cruises, we go on the first night and tell them we want to pre-order from the vegan menu for the following night. We skip the dining room on the first night and just go to the buffet. It works out good this way for us. You should be able to do this in any dining room. We were told our order was put in a computer if we wanted to go to a different dining room. We tried to stick with the same dining room and the same waiter though, but it didn't always work out that way.

Oh! When were you on the Regal? The Emerald menus you posted are the same from June and September. They haven't changed. 🙂 There are way more options on the Emerald's menus then the ones posted above. It's so weird that they all wouldn't just have the same menus. LOL.

I have sailed on the Emerald and had vegan options each night. (Fernando, one of the restaurant managers is the best!) We will be sailing on the Regal soon. Has anyone had experience ordering from a vegan menu? I thought I read on this forum some of the ships don't offer vegan menus. Thanks.
