Just had the standard email but looks like I have all my meals mdr booked but what a mess they have made for some people who won't be able to book to 2 weeks away further mayhem for everyone

Why do p and o let you see prices for prebooking but only allow you to see location I.e.aft ,mid aft, etc and not see cabin no .Why would I pre book via p and o .I know if I book via my TA I can give her say 6 cabin numbers in order of preference and she will come up trumps 99% of the time .so for example if I want a mid aft cabin I cannot even state deck position so why would I use P and O site?----q

What ship was that for?

Update on booking mdr.Arvia Left my order in basket and tried to checkout this morning 8.45am and it worked confirming times and restaurant with email .Noticed 1 night was missing so input this morning and it worked as it was the first night only 2 times were available 5.30 or 5.45

Just re-read email inviting to book dinning .Scrolled down to last bit after getting to excited and seems to imply two weeks before for MDR freedom dinning so why do they send the email inviting you to book.log onto your personaliser and booking for mdr are open but won't let you finish your basket bookings so I guess it is two weeks .Bar humbug !

Forgot to say Arvia is the ship we are on didn't think mdr was available to about 3 weeks out not 6 weeks give a day or two .Anybody booked Arvia in the past for MDR how far out was you able to book ?

Hadn't checked the cruise critic site might have guessed it meaning I .T. again .The site cannot handle us all trying to book at tge same time I got as far as basket then it was empty then full again missed 1 day trying to find which day then it wasn't open .I give up I'm off for my bath

Max capacity is 6264 if all upper 3rd and 4th births are used according to the stats 5200 operating without 3rd and 4th

It feels strange not to have the tablecloths but I guess it saves on the environment and costs and when I think of home we never use a tablecloth only mats so shouldn't seem that odd I suppose

Just checked with my TA not expecting to see the obc added but she sent me an updated invoice n request with it added so I think the new system looks pretty robust finger's crossed so thats me done for this year.

Applied 3.30pm yesterday approved and confirmed 10.30am this morning so 20hrs from application to adding OBC to September cruise .That was very quick .

Does seem reasonably straightforward now that it has been updated on the site .It states 90 days before your cruise so will now wait till that date arrives in future although I jumped the gun on my May cruise using stockperks but they added at approx 105 days .

Emailed stockperks about obc after 31st July their reply was that given the investment P and 0 had made with stockperks they would have thought they would continue from May onwards .We will see.

I haven't needed to ask it has always been there on account so have not really needed to ask .Only asked this last time to make sure stockperks had worked when I payed balance for my May cruise this year so I don't need to change my TA when she has helped me on many occasions with transfers and cancellations due to health ,covid ,etc and gives very good advise ,and we may not even have to worry if they take this share perk off us

Don't need to get a new TA never failed in 20 cruises wether I asked for comfirmation or not

My TA doesn't send an updated invoice but happy to send one on request

Will have to wait a few years on mine although don't owe me anything in real terms got my money back in obc and small amount of divi just plain profit on whatever price I can get in the future .There for a rainy day .
