  1. The positive about this cruise is the ports are mostly all small ports that don’t cater to the big ships. I enjoy that itinerary very much
  2. The 40% discount does not count as a drink on your vouchers i believe
  3. April 12 on adventure changed from labadee to grant Turks…i think that’s a fair trade
  4. Last cruise in January on the anthem both milk was served out of a pitcher
  5. Reservations are recommended. You didn’t say what ship but if you want to do Izumi reservations fill up quickly. There is usually a line on embarkation day and it gets quite long
  6. Assuming you are both diamond..If not call crown and anchor and get your husband linked to your crown and anchor benefits
  7. Diamond members get 4 drinks per day per person. They renew at 5am everyday. Including the disembarkation day.
  8. Yes. You need to purchase $1000 in the first 90 days..
  9. Look at the menu for the nights and the most formal will be the on that has lobster. On an 11 night wee just. Disembarked that was the second last night
  10. Yes you can just remember to tell the. Server?bartender you do not want to use your diamond voucher. They usually ask but sometimes do not
  11. You can purchase almost every bottle they offer in a good liquor store at home at a much cheaper price than what royal charges on a bottle of wine
  12. If you go to the venue for reservations as soon as you get on the ship you can make all your reservations then. They keep some seats available at the time.
  13. You do not need voom but whoever you want to text has to be connected to you in the app…the voom desk is very helpful with all that
  14. If you are on a b2b there is no need to check in . The only thing you would need to do is if you are on an oasis class or anthem then you can make your reservations. When DW and i do a b2b and they want a check in if i am looking to book shows i just pick the latest available so someone can grab an earlier one
  15. Savory bites have been taken out of the kitchen since covid. They were making them special order for a few cruises after but not anymore. The roll chef came out to my table once after i asked for them and he said they do not carry the flour that is needed for them. ….i was so disappointed
  16. First night is always busiest. They serve filets for dinner that evening. Probably better than chops in my opinion
  17. If your husband is in the JS he will get the points along with your friend..you will not get the points but when you travel agin he will be ahead of you by the number of points he got for the doubled points but they match his status..just not the points..so in all probability he will be D+ sooner but you will get the perks when you are with him
  18. Yes you can. And if you are on on of then big ships go straight to the CK and make reservations for dinner happy. Sailing
  19. You can call BOA or you can do it on their websit…very simple to do…you will just need your booking number ship name and the name reservation is under. As said above if you check on the RCCL website under your booking you willl see the cruise credit within a week
  20. We have never had lunch in chaps..first few. Times we did b2b we had an ok lunch in main dining room..could times on oasis class had lunch in solarium cafe..now we just skip it ..nothing special at all..depending on where your port is you may be off the ship from 10 or 45 minutes.. you will meet all the other cruisers somewhere on the ship until all other people are off the ship. Then you will disembark and the authorities will clear the ship and back on you go. While at the meeting RC will give you your new sea pass cards. Carry your wine on and if anyone questions you just explain your b2b and they will let you take them Mike
  21. when you add a tip to the receipt the money is put into the tip pool for the bartending staff...i have always carried $1 bills to tip the bartenders that i frequented. they learn your account number so after several days you will not even have to show your sea pass card..and they usually tell me if i have reached my 5 day drink limit and i just tell them to use DW's account
  22. beverage package is cheaper if purchased pre-cruise but yes you can purchase on board you are allowed one bottle of wine per adult person in a cabin i have never been charged a corkage fee when i bring a bottle on board either in maid dining room or a specialty restaurant
