  1. I have enjoyed many good meals at Tuscan Grill, which is my favorite. Murano is good & my spouses favorite due to fish options. Both are worth a visit. We did Le Petite Chef once, which was underwhelming. The original Qsine format was much fun, sorry they discontinued it.
  2. We usually get a beverage package these days as we like our adult beverages. For myself, I am a big fan of rum so Cuba Libre is a goto, made with Bacardi 8 & diet Coke. Recently discovered Zacapa rum, can drink it like water on ship but the cheapest bottle is like $90 on land.
  3. One of the best dining experiences we had was on the Celebrity Infinity specialty restaurant SS United States. This was many years ago but still a great memory. More recently we did a Top Chef cruise on Celebrity and attended a celebrity chef dinner (Shirley Chung) which was awesome.
  4. I recall years ago going to nice restaurants that had salad bars with blocks of cheese at room temp. Loved carving off a hunk for noshing. Cold cheese is definitely not as flavorful in my opinion. Of course now I have developed lactose intolerance so those days are in the past...
  5. My wife make awesome meatloaf a few times a year. Primary ingredients are mix of ground beef & ground pork, oatmeal, mushrooms and some blue cheese. So good!!
  6. We generally stick to eating on the cruise ship (as we already paid for it!), but a few times we ventured out to try some local fare. Some memorable dishes include: * Barbados - "puddin & sous" - pickled pork with steamed sweet potatoes * Barbados - jerk chicken, macaroni pie, rice&beans on Brownes Beach * Grenada - crabs at BB's Crab Back * Nevis - conch fritters & chicken at Sunshine's Beach Bar * St. Martin - chicken at boardwalk eatery * Antigua - family picnic (so many dishes) on local beach
