I recently sailed Breakaway May 8-15 and it was my first cruise ever. I did not know what to expect when it came to sailing as a gay man. I was pleasantly surprised. Each night there was a LGBTQIA+ Get Together at Shakers Martini lounge. I was able to meet a lot of people and hangout with them for the duration of the cruise. It was awesome being able to walk into Bliss or Spice H20 and see familiar faces and party with people I made friends with earlier in the week. I still keep in touch with some of the people I met too. NCL will definitely be my go to for my next trip which looks to possibly be the Encore in January 2023. Happy PRIDE! everyone!!

Wow. Seems like there was a big outbreak on the ship but it went unreported because everyone tested positive after they got off I tested positive the day after we disembarked

Just mindless fun

I just did breakaway from May 8-15 with a stop in Amber Cove We loved it! But we didn’t stay at the cruise port. We walked 15min away to the beach next to the port All the facilities (pool, water slides etc) are available to any ship that docks there. We just choose not to use them. from the AC sign you can see the beach, but unfortunately you have to walk allll the way around or you can try and convince a taxi driver to take $2 each to bring you there but they will try their hardest to bring you to another beach for more money.

If you’re in the haven, booked a villa or you’re platinum and above you are apart of the first group off the ship onto the tender They gathered everyone in the spegial tent room for about 25min at 9:45am. And we were on the island by 10:30am. There was also the Sky that was on the island too. Other tender groups from our ship (a, b, c, d etc) were on much later like 12:30-1pm. From what I heard people were very upset that it was taking so long and they missed time on the island.

Returned from Breakaway May 8-15 sailing and tested positive yesterday. A group of people I met are also testing positive too. my symptoms are COVID tongue, sore throat, chills, headache
