Had the Ribeye (Ripeye?) yesterday at CK. Aweful tough and subpar meat quality. Called for the chef and he acknowledges the critique. He said for CK he tries to avoid ordering this meat for the remainder of the 14 days cruise

We usually cruise some 90+ days/year with RCI in balconys or JS. This year we do only 4 weeks, all from old bookings from a year ago, no new bookings. All due to the insane prices. We are doing more river cruising in Europe and also sail with TUI or MSC

As compensation for the crew related crime on board, Royal Caribbean promises to deliver better food quality, go back to twice a day cabin cleaning and also promise to sell cruises for more reasonable fares

Good choice- At MSC you do not brag about Pins anymore that have spent more in cruise fares than you. This board survives your switch to MSC (which you will nevertheless do)

You do not understand the concept at all. Its not gratuities anymore its hidden salaries. It is the companies greed for more revenue by cutting back the former salary scheme and let the customers finance their behind the curtain crews. Do you understand the difference between gratuities and salaries? Its the company that cuts crew income not the autograt removers. Autograt removers pay the crew directly in cash to circumvent the hidden salary scheme. This way the face-to-face crew receives more money than from autograt customers.

The UDP is a scam on SY. You cannot book your choice of restaurant nor time due to overfill. RCI obviously overbooked the program. In Europe actually this is forbidden and cost hefty fines. UDP is not worth anything you just cannot book the venue you like to use. Waist of money.

That is correct. Here on SY they speak effective Jan24, the JS cabins will be separated into regular JS and so called SkyJS (a quick price check shows a difference between reg JS and Sky JS of 2000$) That means regular JS have no whatsoever access to CK anymore , only the pricey SkyJSs
