Can't believe this conversation is still going on ... 😂.. oh way do people get so tied up in what yi wear for dinner on a cruise ... As I said before what ever the dress code will be my husband and I will continue to dress 👗 for dinner and would rather be over dressed then under anytime..but that's just us... Sending you all best wishes for a merry Christmas and happy new year.. I'm going to have a stem cell transplant in mid January so pjs will be my dress code for several months but I can do casual 😉..

No such thing as a casual night for us ( we'll maybe my husband) yes I do have a little black ( big ) dress ... Just dress how you feel .. we prefer to dress for dinner, I know it's not everyone choice but we never feel out of place being dressed & we continue to dress how we want to & continue to cruise silversea in which ever way the dress code goes 😂..merry Christmas 🎄.. to all far & wide

Woe wow .what an incredible & amazing experience..got to hand it to you both you pick some fabulous places to visit.. due to my condition I only get to go to the Mediterranean ( which is beautiful) but have enjoyed your photos they are amazing Happy travels & safe journey home

I'm so sorry to that Davy .. I have never experienced pets or children but from most coolers replys they are experienced in both .. I'm sorry to hear so many sad stories of loss of your pets ... I always lookout for your travel posts when you go on incredible non cruising travel..

Not sure why I posted in the incorrect post maybe that's why I'm not popular!! I've been cruising with silversea since 2000.but I think now I'm not in the new in crowd(as Bryan ferry wouldn't have said,) but anyway just wanted to touch base with maybe some of old crowd 😜 still love following the cruise board 😘

Over packer .. you should see our cases ... 2 big 1 middle & 2 carry on ... That's just for 12 nights 😄... I like to have options ( although the dresses have been on so many photos now over the last ooh don't want to say) ..

Back in the early days of my experience on silversea 2005 there were no cruise itinerarys that short ...maybe it's the new normal( thanks to rccl) .. there are so many 7 night itinerary cruises ..I will confess that I am up & about on deck by 11am ...but I am on my lounger & await my champagne 🥂 being served... And again I will confess that I do leave my lounger while I have a burger 🍔 pool side but not gone for hours ... That said I do remember back in 2011 New York to the Caribbean it was mayhem.. it was a 12 night cruise but a different passenger base ... Not a lounger to be had ... We had to ask pool staff to find extra loungers to which they kindly accommodated... I'm following the thread for dress code also & it's all changing... That said I'm still a silversea girl through & through... Having started back in 1989 royal Caribbean sovereign of the seas..wow ..what a experience that was ... Absolutely fabulous & got me started on my journey of 70 cruises ... Happy cruising 🥂🚢...

I can't understand why so many people going on a silversea cruise question the dress code !! You dress how you feel you feel comfortable.. for my husband & I we enjoy dressing for dinner & to my husband there is no such thing as a casual evening so please don't try to bring it down... Yes dress how you want to but if others still want to keep the traditional dress code of silversea then let us ... We can do casual anytime,but dinner on silversea we like to dress up & I know some of you out there have questioned does it make for a better experience well for us yes but to others maybe not..I have posted several times on this subject & I can't believe its still being questioned... Few photos of dear husband and I ( have posted several times) ...we can do dress code & causal..

Hi jolly ..I'm not on this cruise but wish I was ..my brother& his wife ( Norwegian) my sister & her husband are enjoying this cruise .... Photos of them to stay alert 🤣...🥂

I'm not sure exactly what happened to my earlier posts ..maybe I'm black listed .. But just wanted to let you know on the cooler that my dear husband & I have just returned from a fabulous short break from our favourite hotel in Palma & arrived home late Saturday evening & then up early this morning for my husband's 4th round over 60's Motocross meeting in fleet Hampshire...we love fine dinning& wine .. fabulous hotels & well Motocross!??
