We found cedartree travel insurance to be very reasonable.

We join the ship on the 7th too but flying from Gatwick. We haven't been to the caribbean before and this is also our first cruise with tui/marella we've waited sooo long, third time lucky 🤞so can't help with tips but I'd be interested if anyone has any info.

Could anyone tell me what currency they have used when visiting Cuba? The lady at the tui store said we have to change our money when we get there but we've just booked a car ride/excursion and our driver is accepting uk Sterling as payment. We've looked online and euros,Canadian dollars and their own Cuban pesos amongst others are also accepted!?. Does anyone have a definitive answer? Thanks

We are going to Cuba in February also and as I understand it there is no need to apply pre cruise for a visa. Tui will charge each passenger around £15 to their onboard account.
