  1. Yeah, but you pay a buck extra for Bulleit and Crown now too, so I'm not sure you're heading in a better direction (like this thread 🤣). That said, my shareholder OBC came through, so I can cover 83.33333333333333333 shots of Bulleit now without increasing my final bill. 😎 That sounds like a lot, but you might be surprised!
  2. I didn't think this was a "new promotion," but rather a change in terms to the FAS beverage package. As such, I think everybody with that package should receive the six bottles. We'll soon have more actual reports
  3. I have a B2B in a few months. Both legs were booked in August. Same ship/itinerary. One shows the water and the other does not.
  4. If I reached embarkation date, and still nothing, I would pack a copy of my email submission, the automated case number NCL response, the request form and my brokerage statement. I would present it at guest services and ask for the $100 OBC. You never know what might work. 😎
  5. I think we all know that. We'll be testing this very soon. Do you really take this at face value, that if you submit 15 days prior to sail date that you'll get the OBC?
  6. I drink and I have fun. My friend does the same, but she also "knows things." 🤣 🐀
  7. I submitted my most recent successful request on Dec 5, and it took about ten days to process (showed up on reservation, never received any other type of notification). I think that forum reports around that time indicated similar "delays" (i.e. not the historical one day turn around). That suggests to me that they had a backlog that may have grown as people took time off for the holidays. I'm not going to hold my breath, but I think this will eventually pass. Not good for folks approaching that 15 day deadline.
  8. I'll go out on a speculative limb here. NCL has 19 ships. Let's assume (just for sake of discussion) that each sails four times a month with 2000 bookings (i.e. at 2 per booking, that would be 4000 passengers. So, 152,000 bookings per month. Let's assume that 1% of those are NCLH shareholders asking for OBC. That's 1520 requests per month. Let's further assume that most requests are automatic, and allow 15 minutes to load the OBC onto the reservation. That's 380 hours per month, or about the suitable workload for 2 or 3 full time staff. I don't think we're dealing with a large department here. More like a couple people who may have a) Covid, b) lingering hangover from NYE, c) quit for a better job or d) got laid off as part of the 9%. Sometimes the simplest explanation is most likely the correct explanation. That said, I really don't know and am just guessing here. Hopefully we'll all have our OBC magically appear soon! 😎
  9. Were US citizens being kidnapped then? Apparently, their recommendation is now "do NOT travel."
  10. Backpack on a large, wheeled suitcase. These are Lands' End. Check the suitcase. Carry on the backpack.😎
  11. I believe that most/all have had little problem in the past. The OP has a current issue that apparently is shared by many others (myself included).
  12. Yep. They should be cleaned out with soap on a regular basis!!!🤣
  13. Yeah, I would like to tell you that I charged boldly into that solution, but I can't back that up. 🤣 I was just in one of those dangerous "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" moods and it worked out (this time).
  14. I just spot checked several future reservations extending into 2025. They all have the same text indicating 6 liters on the cruise summary.
  15. That's funny. At the end of the day, it's all just soap. As long as I have one of them, I'm good to go!
  16. We used the same email as on her old account (which had a username different than her email address). Earlier in the week, DD's account changed from a username to her email without notification. The same happened to me months ago.
  17. NCL "forgot" DW's username. We could reset the password, but there was no username. We just created a new account using her latitudes number and it all works fine now. That's NCL IT for ya'. 🤣
  18. Bingo!! We've done this twice. Once we took a shared shuttle to port. Once we rented a car and dropped it off at the port (I had a corporate rate that made it cheaper and there were three of us). Next time, I would just take an Uber/Lyft. That hotel isn't cheap, but if you have Hyatt points it works out very well. There is also a Hyatt Place just North of the airport that is cheap/easy.😎
  19. It was discussed here when it came out, and it was certainly well documented by NCL. My guess is the guy that came up with that was part of the 9 percent, so it went out the door with him.
