  1. Some features likely will be; things like the Roll Glider will probably incur a charge.
  2. It does! It will be a special dinner that will take place in a private area at the back of the Americana Diner on Deck 8. It will have its own unique menu.
  3. Thank you! It's a good ship - people just need to be prepared for the differences.
  4. Here's my latest missive from the ship: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles/is-sun-princess-the-future-of-princess-cruises We were able to road-test Spellbound last night in its basic form. It will open for reservations on March 19 and debut on April 8. Overall, a really fascinating experience.
  5. Precisely. Always good to be flexible. It's possible that, like The Enclave thermal suite within the Lotus Spa, pricing for other features could be dynamic and dependent upon the length of the voyage. We'll just have to see.
  6. This is the most complete information I've seen so far. As I say, though, this will probably be highly subject to change.
  7. Here's one shot of the Fitness Center and the jogging track, which runs around the Park19 area on Deck 19 (it's the red-colored area on the decking). I'll try to snap some of the free weights and Fitness Studio. You are correct - classes will be held there.
  8. FYI for those re: the Sanctuary and other areas. Princess is still determining some of the features onboard -- such as where the dedicated seating will be in The Arena for Princess Premier guests, for example. I'd expect that things like pricing on the first few voyages will be highly subject to change until Princess finds the "sweet spot".
  9. I've found it to be very fast and efficient, even for shore excursions. They typically open the forward and midship gangways, which are oversized compared to the typical cruise ship. There are typically two or three lines scanning medallions, and two lines doing security checks on the way back onboard.
  10. None, I'm afraid. I hear it's undergoing a complete decor changeover, so I wouldn't expect it to be done anytime soon.
  11. A lot of it sounds like it was due to supply chain issues and the late delivery of the vessel from Fincantieri. Other than that, I couldn't speculate.
  12. There doesn't appear to be an internet cafe aboard Sun Princess, but you can certainly access it with your own devices. Speeds are reasonably good.
  13. I'll try to find answers to these questions for you! I'm curious about all of them myself.
  14. I was able to check out Firefly Park, for ages 0-6, on embarkation day but didn't make it to the 8-12 or teens clubs. They're pretty well closed off to random people walking through at this point, but I'll see if I can set up a time to view them. This probably doesn't help much, but here's Firefly Park:
  15. I can find out; I'm all the way forward on a higher deck and haven't heard any noise to speak of.
