Their website doesn’t show any Serenity cruises now after Perth, until Miami on June 8. I suppose they are in the midst of updating it for the in between legs.

I think it would be helpful to know if the cruises on Symphony are cancelled or just being rerouted, to say the least.

I’m sure there is a financial issue regarding cancelling vs redirecting the cruise to other ports, especially for travel insurance. In addition, there are visa implications for guests going to India. Why buy a visa if you aren’t going there?

They did post one golf theme cruise later in the year with Leadbetter as the guest PRO. The golf pros will usually have one or two talks on sea days, sometimes a port day. The concierge helps to schedule golf in ports where it is feasible. The on board pro may also play if he/she is available. When you board and see arrival/departure times and if there is a tender or not, you can organize golf.

It’s not a good look for them. It makes them look out of touch.

I would say that money is tight at Crystal and while this would be a nice gesture it would cost them more than they are making on those world cruisers, and the loss of revenue from segment goers on that leg.

Is this speculation or have the ship’s staff confirmed this idea.

I heard today that Aida has cancelled their 3 Red Sea voyages in the Spring and will be sailing without passengers to return to Europe.

I used Uber from the ship to the airport and it was about $40. If you go on the Uber website or app you can see the estimated price.

In the past you could get the tourist visa easily on their government website. I think it was like $20.

Have you sailed on Emerald River Cruises? I’m looking for the answer for this cruise line. My cruise line that I sail on many times has a US plug in the stateroom and you don’t need to bring anything if you are from Canada or the US or Mexico

Keith, I was just saying there is always another option if Serenity is not able to get to the West Coast. Of course it would be a logistical issue but nothing is impossible.

I wonder how they know for sure about the WC being a go as is currently planned. Perhaps they may need to move the WC to Symphony since it is not effected by this at this juncture.
