Why do people come on here bitching about something and not post a picture? If I have a major problem with a product or food item, the first thing I do is take a picture.

I had NCL book my flights once, I actually learned my lesson and will never have a cruise line do my flights again.

I planned on going to Boatyard, but after looking at the above silver moon website I ended up booking the cat with lunch, the less expensive 12 person was sold out and only 2 spots left on the adults only version so I snapped them up for my sailing.

I was on a similar itinerary on Valiant Lady in June, it was wonderful and am considering another in 2024. ENJOY!!

I was on a Virgin cruise in the Mediterranean out of Barcelona, the food overall was pretty good, however I had a ribeye steak at one of the special restaurants, the all around meal was okay, however the actual cut of meat was one of the worst I have ever had, I was told it was probably because the meat is sourced from the area and nothing like "American Beef"

I have been on both, I enjoyed my Apex cruise (3/2022 half capacity) more than my Beyond (1/2023) cruise, the ships had nothing to do with me enjoying Apex over Beyond, there were many reasons/factors on why... As for the actual ship I preferred Beyond, she is about 90 feet longer, providing more space. Beyond has Le Voyage, World Class Bar, Mast Bar, Ocean view bar, plunge pools, better pool side cabanas, better sunset bar, better Martini bar... I preferred the shows on Apex, food was much better on Apex (Beyond cruise in January 2023 was beginning of the now changed back food cuts..) I actually have three more cruises booked on Beyond, mainly because of dates and ports of call..

How have we regressed from having topless decks in 2004ish but don't in 2023? Seems a bit backward to me. In 2004 men kissing may have gotten them thrown off the ship, thankfully not today, but no topless decks??😂😂

I booked the cruise rate only in a situation like this, It will be half that to add premium drinks and premium WIFI and even less when a flash sale happens....

Other than Alaska, I would have zero interest in any west coast cruise.

I choose "Select" when booking, so not sure what the Plus is, maybe new fancy wording??

Can't answer your question, I didn't even notice on my last Beyond cruise in January I had an option to purchase a filet, but I just got this email from Celebrity and this MDR dish looks excellent. 😂

I also booked a solo for next summer in SS veranda on an E-class. I took the cruise only option with refundable deposit, as the AI was over $2500 more, plus almost $700 to make it refundable. Makes zero sense to do that when Premium Drink pkg is about $650ish and WIFI is $180ish for the week. My plan is to wait to add beverage and WIFI during the hopeful black Friday sale and save even more!!!

All joking aside, the cruise companies and many other companies have gone through a lot of changes in the last three years. I will be going on and enjoying my third E-class cruise in March 2024. I'm sure I will love it, there may be many changes since my first E-class Apex 2021 cruise, but all in all I will most likely love my vacation..

Happened to me on Apex in 2021 No clue there was a lunch option in Eden. Figured it out when I was on Beyond the following year..

These are new "premium" options. Everything that was previously "free" in Eden cafe is still "free." RELAX

I did this on a Virgin cruise and had zero issues. I recently booked a SS veranda on Beyond, for 2 is was the same as solo with all included, however to cruise only option for a solo was over $2500 cheaper than all included. Doubt I’ll drink $2000 plus in drinks, so booked solo cruise only.

I went on a 7 day Virgin cruise this summer on Valiant Lady from Barcelona to Cannes/Nice/Monaco, Carrara (Pisa), Ajaccio, Ibiza, back to Barcelona. This was a cruise I never planned to do, but because of a credit card points offer Virgin Red was offering, I basically got a free cruise for 75,000 credit card points and to me it was an absolute no brainer.... There are differences with all cruise lines, but at the end of the cruise I really enjoyed the cruise with Virgin. Because of the wonderful Med. cruise this summer I decided to check out a Med. cruise for 2024. The price difference between Virgin and Celebrity is thousands of dollars. I love Celebrity (that may change after my March 2024 cruise) but I cannot justify the extra money to do a Med. cruise with them. I understand the itineraries between the two line are completely different, but again I can't justify Celebrity's price.... Happy Cruising!!!!

Just read through all of this, I truly hope you are enjoying your vacation even with ALL the missteps from Celebrity. I kind of wish I didn't read through it, a lot of the issues seem minor, but that makes an expensive vacation not so good IMO. I have a Celebrity Ultimate Caribbean in March and if I have the same minor problems and school lunch looking food, it will be my last for a while. Cancelled and re-booked some excursions and specialty dinning and saved a few hundred dollars. I'll take it..
