When we were on the Iona over Christmas and New Year the cocktails we had were dire, no more than flavoured water. At least Princess drinks are pretty consistent throughout.

So true, but nothing surprises me with P&O. They mess up something on every cruise I’ve been on so far so I shouldn’t be surprised.

Just had a reply and the error was an administrative error when the shareholder benefit was added. So a simple fix in the end.Thanks for the reply’s. just an afterthought. Sending a private message via P&O Twitter page was pretty quick. A response after a couple of hours and after some booking info it was resolved very quickly and a revised booking quickly sent to my email.

No I haven’t made any changes to the booking at all. I’ve private messaged them on Twitter and am still awaiting a reply so I will post on the outcome

Another P&O IT technical glitch i guess.

I booked direct with P&O and paid the minimum deposit at the time which was £140. I then paid the balance of £1558 mid December.

Yes, the revised booking form says I still owe £100 but the fare for me (1st passenger ) has increased by £100 when both fares should be the same.

So, I just sent off my proof of carnival shareholding’s and I received back a revised booking confirmation which shows that I now owe £100. i paid the full balance several months ago. What gives P&O??? Has anyone had a similar issue?

We have the classic drinks package included in our fare but I can’t for the life of me see a way to upgrade??? It just shows me the full prices??? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi, this will be our first cruise with Celebrity on Celebrity Silhouette. I paid the deposit and received an invoice the same day. But after paying the final balance I haven’t received an invoice showing that I’ve fully paid. So I log onto my online account and it is saying that I still owe £382 for gratuities. This can’t be right because we’re staying Aqua class and when we booked it said that Drinks/Tips/Gratuities were included in the fare? Has anyone experienced this before when booking?

We are on the round trip crossing Aug 11th-25th 2023. The crossing to NewYork is Dance the Atlantic (English Royal Ballet)

Don’t want to Hijack this thread, but could someone please tell me what happens at Brooklyn with immigration if you doing a round trip on QM2 back to Southampton. We also are doing a full day tour of NewYork booked through Cunard.

Nothing is 100% secure in this world at the present time. But at the same time there are many more companies out there who are at a bigger risk than carnival of bankruptcy. Carnival has a 55% chance of Bankruptcy. Will this make me sell my shares and cancel all my future cruise bookings? No. Royal Caribbean and Norwegian cruise lines have a similar risk of going bankrupt, this is the state of the industry at present and will not change anytime soon.
